> 3 dayIve owned this particular bottle for around a year now, and it seems to be holding up great so far. I have used and abused this bottle, frequently dropping it onto hard surfaces and holding it by that plastic lid strap often. It scratches easy but that is to be expected with a plastic bottle. It will not leak unless you dont twist the lid on properly. Obviously, this is not an insulating bottle. Cooler liquids placed inside will heat up rapidly and hot liquids (dont do that) will cool down quickly. Doesnt bother me, if it did I would have bought a Hydroflask or something. Like all other water bottles, water inside it will develop an odd taste over time due to residues and microbial activity. No surprise there, just an unavoidable fact of life. As for ease of drinking, it can be difficult at times, but thats what I should have expected when I bought a wide-mouthed bottle like this. When in the car, going over even the smallest bump can be disastrous when mid-drink, so you will often need to time your sips to avoid a faceful of water. Of course this could be avoided with getting one of those adapters that fit onto the mouth and neck it down to a more manageable size, or even buying a narrow-necked bottle from Nalgene instead. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

> 3 dayIve been using Nalgene waterbottles since I was sixteen in the scouts. I fell in love with their relability, durability, leak proof lids, and the measurements on the side making it easy to use for water purification, cooking, and electrolyte drink mixes. The nalgene bottle can handle being frozen, and it can handle hot drinks too without leeching chemicals. I make tea in mine occasionally. You typically need to stand still to drink from it cuz it splashes a bit if you arent careful, but I recently discovered that you can get a little inner piece that will make it a narrower spout without having to sacrifice the wide mouth. My workplace requires see through waterbottles so the coloration of these bottles are perfect as well. A lot of people complain about the bottle smelling with nalgenes. The secret to not having a smelly nalgene is to wash it every single day without fail, paying close attention to the edges where your lips touch the theads, and dont just top up day old water with fresh water. Just make that part of your routine. Even if you only have water in it it will still start smelling because moist places is where bacteria will grow, and the source of bacteria is your lips and mouth. If you wash it every single day, which most sources recommend you do with any waterbottle, then youll be fine. Clean water is incredibly important and contaminating your drinking source by not washing the threads where the cap screws on and the inside is a good way to get yourself sick. The reason why I favor the wide mouth version because its much easier to clean.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite water bottle on the planet. It’s the perfect every day bottle. No it’s not insulated, but for everyday use, you can’t beat it, especially when you have quick access to cold water all day at work like I do. It holds a lot of liquid without being too big and bulky unlike most other options on the market. I prefer the hard plastic as opposed to metal so that you don’t hear me clinking and clunking all day. Comes in a boat load of colors and sizes. I personally prefer the wide-mouth and don’t believe the splash guard is necessary because I never drink it as if I was stranded in the desert dying of thirst, but if you want it- it’s there , along with other accessories like cap options. The best thing is the price. I paid just over 10 bucks for this high quality bottle. Other water bottles are just too expensive these days. Just buy this and be done. It just flat out does the job and stands the test of time.

> 3 dayI have had this for about a month now. I bought the Nalgene water bottle for my job as a package handler because standard 16 oz water bottles just dont cut it. This lasts me nearly all day for my 6 hour shift. The wide mouth of the bottle is perfect for filling with ice. The printed graduations on mine are a little bit scuffed up from frequent use but they remain readable enough. For the last few days, I have been attaching carabiner clips to the little stem that connects the cap to the bottle so I can carry it on my belt loop. Im a bit nervous that it will eventually tear off but so far it works fine. I bought it with the guyot splashguard, which is a nice accessory because it helps keep the ice inside the bottle while drinking. That said, it wouldnt kill you if you decided to save your 5 bucks. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bottle condensates. I hadnt really thought of it when I purchased it but it doesnt bother me or disrupt my work so its not a con personally, but it may be a con for other people. Overall, this is pretty nice. > 3 dayIve had this water bottle for over six months now and I can completely and utterly attest to its strength and endurance. Ive dropped it countless times, down flights of stairs, on concrete, from a few inches to multiple feet and have NEVER had a single crack, dent, leak, or imperfection caused on this bottle. The image I have attached is one I have taken today, rather than when I bought the bottle six months ago in order to indicate just how well it has held up over time from moving twice (in and out for school) and in general through the busy life a young-adult has. The dollar bill is included in order to help indicate size. Any imperfection seen on the bottle is not an actual imperfection (near the top there are lines) but instead those are actually lines of water since I just drank from it. This water bottle helped me turn my life around in terms of water conumption. I was always less likely to drink water when I would finish my water bottle (for a normal 16 ounce one). Since this water bottle is over 32 ounces I have no problem staying hydrated and only have to fill up a couple times instead of once every hour.

> 3 dayI absolutely love these Nalgene water bottles. Made from firm (just barely flexible) very clear plastic, this water bottle is ideal for the hydration conscious person. The bottle offers no flavor to the water added to it, cleans easy, and thanks to how clear it is, you can easily detect when it is time to clean it. I bought a 32oz/1000ml bottle with a slight dark grey tint, and a black cap with a measuring line on the side, that indicates ml and oz very clearly. Durability: This one I purchased was to replace the one Ive used daily for about 4 years. It finally got lost. Ive dropped this new one about one million times in month or so Ive had it. Once off my bike while I was riding down the street. No real markings to show for it and its still water tight. Lid: supper durable and screws tight easily and stays tight. I use the plastic strap that keeps it locked to the bottle as a sort of clip and link it to my backpack by way of clips all the time. Labeling: just like the picture only mine doesnt say everyday on it. I do use it daily, though. Production: Made in the USA all day. Keep the money in the US, keep the economy in the US. Recommendation: Definitely a good buy. Its really just a nice, good looking, boring water bottle that you can rely on for years to come.
