> 3 dayTCT holesaws can be damaged by impact. The box protects the carbide tips nicely. While I would have preferred a different size selection, this set is a good compromise for the money. The only thing I would like to be different is the shank. If the lower portion were a Weldon shank, it would fit in a magnetic drill chuck, enhancing usability.

Greater than one weekOwned this 1” (25 mm) hole saw for all of 14 hours, the carbide teeth lasted about 2 minutes while drilling low carbon mild steel. I bought this bit hoping to drill 6 super smooth holes in 1/4” mild steel as I had purchased a smaller 3/4” bit from another source that worked great in the same material and much harder material. All the teeth on this bit broke off with only 60 percent of the first hole cut. Bit is Completely unusable now check the photo. For reference, I finished cutting the first hole with a regular bi-metal hole saw that was countless years old and literally missing 3 teeth. I then cut the remaining 5 holes with the bi metal blade so it wasn’t because the steel was too hard.

> 3 dayEDIT: After using a better drill bit and Blue Loctite on set screw,, the hole saw worked fine. Bumped it up to 3 stars and overall, disappointed but made it work. Drill bit did not center properly and even broke on a test piece. Will update after I use a different bit and am able to complete an actual cut. This is currently being used on aluminum, 1/2 thick.

Greater than one weekIm converting a van to a camper and needed to cut a perfect hole for the electrical inlet for 30A service. Drilled right through the side of van with no problems. Has a replaceable drill bit and spring to push out the piece you cut out. Definitely worth the money!

> 3 dayI was skeptical about these by how cheap they are, but it works great. I even decided to buy the 5 pack afterwards.
