Of the two emitters I received only one was working. It seems that Amazon is having malfunctions so Im unable to return the product. My review may change if I can get a replacement

When ordering these, I wondered if it was going to be too much heat. Up till now, I have only used heat lights. Not the case, it’s not over powering. It’s actually smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. The positive for me is, I am making a heat source for my dogs on cold nights, without the lights. I’m sure the dogs will appreciate that.

We have a Ball python named Bubbles and these ceramic lights are perfect for her tank. Our house isnt always super warm, and this helps her tank not get too cold at night. If you prefer natural lighting for your reptile tanks these ceramic bulbs are worth trying.

These little heaters are great for several situations. Im using one to heat the pump house which is located in a shed in my yard. Prior to using this type of heater I relied on bulbs that emitted light and some heat. Invariably, there was something that froze every winter. Now, these ceramic heat units emit no light, just heat which is more efficient. I can also see why that would benefit animal owners as the light would disrupt sleeping cycles, etc. The little pump house is approximately 3 x 3 x 4 feet. At 25 degrees outside, this heater kept that room at about 35 degrees preventing the pump or pipes from freezing. I will probably upgrade to a higher wattage unit for a few more degrees of freeze prevention.

These were a good value & seem to be working great. Jusas good as name brand bulbs I’ve used in the past. My only real complaint would be how they sent them but I’m guessing that’s how they keep the cost down. They arrived inside a box that was stuffed into a padded envelope. The box/packaging was a little damaged however the bulbs were fine.

We bought this to help heat our 20 gallon hermit crab tank and it is doing a great job.

This is something new for me, but I like what I see. We have pretty much always used the old fashioned, red heat lamps that just eat electricity. You have to be super careful with them because they have the potential for breaking... plus they are huge. This ceramic heater however, uses about half the electricity and has a very small footprint. One key feature that is nice about this is that it doesnt generate light 24/7. That is one specific feature we were looking for. In fact, you cant even tell its working just by looking at it. After turning it on, I could hear it starting to heat up and within about 15 seconds it was several hundred degrees. I am impressed with how well it works.
