> 3 dayI purchased this for my ferrets because one of them has a bowl-biting habit and I read theyre less likely to chew on stainless steel. It works! I use it as a water dish. Simple design, fairly easy to attach to the cage, and much more sanitary. Plastic has a tendency to harbor nasty bacteria - with stainless steel, that isnt a concern. Very happy with this purchase overall - its just the right size for my girls!

Greater than one weekI bought the stainless steel so it would last longer. The product says the bowl can be removed from the base while connected to the cage. Well it can’t. I have to take the whole thing out then I can remove the bowl. It’s really annoying as that’s one reason I bought these bowls. So I could was then without having to remove the whole thing.

> 3 dayI ordered 4 blue bowls. I received 4 blue bowls. They all lock in, hold food or water and my 2-4lb ferrets cannot move them from the cage wall. The correct order was sent the first time.

> 3 dayOur sun conure wanted to bathe in his water dish no matter how many other bowls we gave him to bathe in. Now he has a nice roomy water dish to bathe in and still have enough water to drink

> 3 dayUsing as a bowl in a rabbit cage. It holds food. It attaches to the cage. It works.

Greater than one weekWe have a very clever African Grey parrot that has a bad habit of dumping and throwing his food and water bowls everyday so we wanted to try these out to see if these bowls could stop this problem. Everything was going great for the first month and then overtime, the bowls became looser and he managed to figure out how to untwist and dump them as well. The bowls seem to be good quality and they stayed on the cage just fine, I’m sure they would work for a dog or cat or just to hold food bowls on to a cage. But unfortunately, our parrot is far too clever and determined... On to the next solution.

> 3 dayIve tried them all and had to come up with a fix for each one as soon as my African Grey figured out how to loosen the cups and throw it onto the bottom of her cage. I just put a small rubber band around the stationery part the cup fastens to, and she cant loosen it. Ha!
