This is a great product! Love it comes in different sizes. Very easy to install, sturdy, easy to fill and clean. The pups do not tip or get it unscrewed!

I bought two 20 oz crocks and they are amazing! They are sturdy easy to take out and clean or refill. The main reason that I got these crocks were to try to prevent my ferret from digging which is when she digs the food or water all out and it is extremely annoying and these crocks resolves the situation. Great product!! Should highly recommend!! I have not had any problems with the locking mechanism and you shouldn’t unless you try to lock it on as tight as possible.

Didn’t realize how large this was! I have a hutch with wire mesh instead of bars which wasn’t sturdy enough to hold up this bowl with anything in it. So beware of that! I worked around this DIYing it a bit. Not the bowls fault though. Also gets stuck when I go to twist the bowl off the base sometimes which results in spilled water.

Great food bowl for our Lorikeet. Until he shoved it on the tile floor and it shattered, it worked well. Ive ordered another, hopefully different material..

I like this bows. I use 2 of them for my ferrets, so they have plenty of food and water all the time. Easy to change and move around the cage. Also great when one of your ferrets brake one bar so this bows help whit holding their escape route hidden. 5 stars.

Installing it it was good but then my ferrets learned to knock it off. The bowl kept coming off and I had to buy a new bowl. That’s why is getting a one star

I owned one of these (a different brand) for I dont know how long... certainly 10 years minimum. I attach it to my dogs 30 wire crate. Recently, however, I accidentally dropped something heavy on it and broke it (the plastic clamp that the wing nut squeezes against, the weakest point in the system). I was bummed, and uber worried that I wouldnt be able to find a replacement after such a long time. This Lixit item solves the problem. It is exactly the same design and, as far as I can tell, the same quality as the bowl that lasted 10 years. As the title implies, I use it as a water bowl instead of a feeder. The dog loves it, too (hes drinking from it as I type). As an extra bonus, the Lixit is compatible with the old bowl, so now I have a spare bowl that can be locked into the new frame also; so I can stick one in the dishwasher and still use the other. I hesitate to call a product the best, but if theres a better water dish for a wire crate, Id love to see it. This bowl is sturdy, low-key, out of the dogs way, but he knows its there when he needs it. My dog is terrier sized, by the way, so I purchased the 10oz bowl. 10 oz doesnt sound like much, but it lasts sufficiently long between refills. Im working from home during the Chinese Flu, and my faithful companion is right by my side. I bring a liter-sized bottle of water in with me in the morning, and its a very rare occasion if he ever even gets close to drinking the entire thing. This product is definitely a thumbs up.
