    I opened my pack of liquid iv to find that two sticks had been torn open with the contents spilled out inside the bag. Kinda bummed that they were unusable.

    As I write this review, I honestly cant remember the original reason why I bought this product. However, a few months ago, I remember desiring to go on a fast. I remember previously being able to fast for 5 days and another time for 6 days. During each fast, I always had to STOP because I felt EXHAUSTED. I could have drank more water, but I did take vitamins and drink coffee. On the day I started this fast, God spoke to me and said, Hey, you know now that lack of electrolytes caused you to be tired on your other fasts. Try one of those packets and see how you feel. To fast forward, I consumed two packets over two days and was able to fast for 9 DAYS....WITHOUT FEELING THE LEAST BIT TIRED OR A STRONG URGE TO EAT! And I only consumed the stuff 2 of the 9 days! I had to break the fast because on day 9, my legs began aching (due to a lack of glucose for so long). Maybe if I had consumed Liquid I.V. each day (or every other day), I could have fasted longer. This stuff is expensive, but because it works, I will not try anything else...even if its cheaper! Today is a Saturday. Ive been doing Keto for a week now. Yesterday (Friday) and today, I started feeling like crap! Overly-tired/Exhausted for no good reason, couldnt get my thoughts together/confused and just overall feeling bad. These are all the symptoms/side effects from ketosis due to an electrolyte imbalance. I still have a bunch of Liquid I.V. packets on hand because I havent been using them. Instead of eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to help me feel better (and consume all that sugar and calories), I ran to Liquid I.V. I poured a packet into about 36oz of water and drank it down. It took a few hours but now I feel like my normal self. Mind you, I had nothing to eat except water and coffee prior....SO I KNOW IT WAS LIQUID I.V. THAT HELPED ME! Taste: the taste is awesome! However, I would not recommend dissolving it in only 16oz of water (like the directions say) as it is wayyyy too sweet. I did this once, drank it through a straw and my tongue was orange and sensitive for a week! In closing, Id encourage everyone to begin eating right! Severely limit refined carbs in your diet and eat more live foods (i.e. fruits and veggies). If youre eating right, and you begin to feel chronic fatigue for no reason, it could be an electrolyte imbalance/dehydration. This stuff works. Give it a try! You can even put one packet into half a gallon, or a gallon and just drink it throughout the day...itll STILL work! At the end of the day, Im not a doctor or health care professional. When it comes to YOUR personal health and well being, I have no idea what the heck Im talking about!

    I absolutely love Liquid.I.V! For daily use I only use about a quarter of the pack per 8oz bottle of water. It makes my water taste smooth and easy going down. For someone who doesnt drink enough water, it makes chugging a quick bottle super easy. And it tastes great!

    The lesson I have learned about hydration additives is use as much as you need. I run ultras, not all the time, but enough. I also tend to run in the heat. This is not what I use when I run. I use something unflavored because I personally dont like flavors if my water gets warm. I use this before the run to make sure I start out hydrated. Generally I use a packet to about 20 oz rather than the 16oz it says. The flavor goes a long way. Its good stuff. I keep it stocked.
