This is a great projector, sadly I had to return it because of missing features I need like 3d,zoom and a custom preset picture option which might be there but I didnt get a chance to get deep into settings because I didnt have the optimal mounting position,I do but I didnt want to drill holes in my ceiling,I wanted to replace it where I have my wowoto h9 and because there was no zoom feature the picture was bigger than my 100 inch screen, also since I already own a portable projector the zte spro 2 so even though the picture on the lg is beautiful and better at 1080p compared to 720,keeping it was not an option for me but as a first portable full HDTV projector with some missing minor features for some its a great projector.i giving this act star review because of the speedy delivery and great customer service!

This projector should be great. It is a small portable size, has a built in battery and low fan noise. It has a few good apps from LG WebOS and has full HD native resolution. On paper this should be incredible, but sadly its not in my experience. LG must have cut costs by adding a very low powered processor inside. Everything runs very slowly, from changing settings to selecting apps, its very sluggish. Movie playback is smooth though and it plays most file formats. The killer for me is the audio. Its absolute garbage. A cheap portable $10 speaker from a corner store would sound better! When connected to a bluetooth speaker the sound is out of sync. You can calibrate it in the settings but doesnt make a big difference. The battery gets me only around 75 minutes which is also disappointing so I have it connected to a socket. Maybe I have a defective unit?

I have a love/hate relationship with this projector. The picture quality is amazing for its super portable size. Its really the only one of its kind that I know of (full 1080p battery powered with smart features). The battery life however is just ok. You might be able to get through a movie if you have it set to the highest power saving setting but its definitely under 2 hours in the normal power mode. It can charge via USB which is great, but it uses the battery faster than it can charge on USB so that can only extend your time another hour or so. There is no zoom function so the screen size is based on how far the projector is from the wall/screen. It does have auto keystone adjustment which is nice. The interface could definitely use some improvement and it has some bugs that can make it very frustrating to use. For one, I primarily use the USB input for playing files offline from a USB flash drive. The projector will often have trouble reading files/folders on the flash drive. It will work fine at first, play a video, then you go back to play another video and it says the file/folder doesnt exist. You then have to eject and reinsert the USB flash drive (sometimes a few times) for it to work again. Ive had this same issue with several flash drives including a brand new one so I know its not the drive itself. Also, it always wanted to default to the TV tuner input when I dont have a USB flash or HDMI cable plugged in. This is super annoying because you just get a screen of white noise and loud static when it selects the TV tuner as input. It would be nice if you could disable the TV tuner for this reason but you cant. This last weekend I forgot the remote for the projector. but you should be able to still control it using the navigation buttons on top of the projector, but I found another bug. If you select the USB flash drive with the onboard navigation, it wont let you select any of the files. For some reason the left/right navigation buttons (the only way to select files) controls the volume instead of letting you navigate through the files. In other words, you cant play any files on a USB flash drive without the remote. I was able to find a workaround by using the LG TV plus app on my android phone as a remote control, but this brings up another annoyance. The LG TV Plus app only works if you have both the phone and the projector connected to the same wifi network. This can be a problem if you are somewhere without wifi. Also, the projector doesnt seem to save the password for wifi so you have to tell it to connect each time. It seems like you should be able to control it over bluetooth with the app instead of wifi when you are on the road. Anyway, it definitely could use a firmware update to resolve some of these bugs. I would up my rating to 5 stars if they fixed these issues.

Excellent picture quality. Not too loud. Very disappointed with app selection. Only has Netflix, Hulu, UFC apps. No Amazon Prime, no Vudu, no Movies Anywhere, no HBO, no CBS app, etc. Disappointed I have to still use my Roku stick with it to watch what I want. Otherwise I’m pretty happy with it.

This project is easy to carry with you to client meetings. Its small and works really well. Battery life is pretty good.

The size of this is great and LG interface is nice, but I cant figure out a cable situation to ceiling mount this and not have the DC power supply brick / inverter visible. (See blue tape temporary fix - looking to hide the HDMI and power cable with raceway cable cover.) I would love to know if somebody has found an option to extend the cable to get the power supply brick out of sight.

This is my new TV and I couldnt be happier. Had the nebula and it couldnt hold a candle to this thing( which is how bright the Nebula is btw). This is brighter by far and as bright as to be expected from a 600 ANSI projector. Ive had it on for 12hours and it doesnt get too hot. Picture is clear at 100inches and could go bigger with similar results I feel. Sound is enough but pairs well with my Sony Xbr-20. PlayStation, fire stick, TV antenna all hooked up at once and run well. Video games are amazing on it. Cant wait for football season. Only real gripe is the remote feels kinda cheap and is over crowded with non backlit buttons. Fan is audibly noticeable if sitting right next to it until you learn to drown it out like a screaming kid. Love it so far. Buy it and you cant go wrong.

Bought projector new but came with several dead pixels. It doesnt affect viewing experience much, but I expect a new product when I purchase one.

If they made this projector with at least 1000 lumens it would be a heck of a lot better. The LG store is pretty outdated as well. They dont even offer Disney + or Movies Anywhere. Could be a great and fantastic projector but sadly they kept it conservative when it comes to those things.

Great entry level Projector w/Smart Tv functionality. Darkened room preferred. Black Out Curtains are very convenient. Great for away missions. My Roku+ Stick is a handy must have. Uhh wifi needed. Dont forget a inexpensive antenna for television functionality.
