This tablet could access play store for a specific app I needed. Downloaded app needed and all is well. Did a couple of google searches and tablet is pretty fast.

Gifted this Lenovo tablet for xmas and she loved it. This was gifted to a senior that just uses her phone to play android mobile games and browser the more common media platforms (youtube/instagram/facebook/etc). The only down side that she mentioned which is not a huge deal is the weight of the tablet. She mentioned it was heavier then it looks but just a small detail she mentioned and seemed to like the tablet overall.

This is a lousy tablet. We used it very lightly and it stopped working after a few months. It no longer charges when plugged in; weve tried new cables/different plug ins and it is definitely the tablet that is not working (not the cables!).

This is our third Lenovo tablet. We bought two for our kids last Christmas. After three months, the tablets would not charge. The chargers would wiggle at the connection. My daughters would not charge at all and my sons had to be propped in a certain position to charge. We replaced my daughters and now again we are dealing with the charging issue. Neither will charge no matter all the wiggling and propping. These are cheap and dont last more than 6 months.

This tablet is often very slow to respond. Choppy.

I purchased the Lenovo Tab M8 with 16GB storage with the expectation that I could format the Micro SD card to act as additional storage for programs. Based on my experience so far this is not possible. I formatted the SD card as internal storage however it will not load new programs onto the card and so it has filled up the 16GB of internal storage and I am now unable to add any additional programs.

Its perfect for her online class, nice handy tablet !

Major step up from old TabA 8 from 2017.

This is a great device to use with any apps you might want to use with a screen larger than your phone. Might not be the fastest device Ive used, but it gets the job done and you cant complain with the price tag it has. Seems a little slow for me when loading stuff or switching apps, but once you get to what you want it works like a champ. Probably only feels slow to me cause I have a stupid quick phone also running Android. Love using this for streaming, email, and reading. A truly great casual tablet.
