Lights are bright. Weve found that the connectors dont hold up all that well to winter weather but for the price, dont mind having to replace every 18 months or so.

I was looking for LED strip lighting for my living room, and wanted something that could get close to daylight brightness. Floor lamps just werent cutting it, and I didnt want to install ceiling lighting. I ended up coming across this product with poor reviews for being too bright, and said PERFECT. After getting them installed, it was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is that looking directly at the strip is probably ill-advised. I would recommend putting something diffuse over the top if this is a problem for you, or use it for an indirect lighting solution. Very happy with how they turned out, the strip was long enough to wrap around the entire room and give an even brightness. It also comes with parts so you can cut it into two strips, but that was unnecessary for me so I cant speak to its quality there, nor on the waterproofing, although the strip uses a thick plastic so I can see it being just fine for outdoors use.

The brightness is much higher than warm white. It is easy to install and s water proof but a bit disappointed by the brightness factor.

We used these LED lights on our screened porch. As mentioned in other reviews, they are very bright so we purchased an Otronics 800W Outdoor Wireless Remote Control Dimmer. Now, the lowest setting does a great job of providing enough light to watch outdoor movies while the brightest setting allows us to read a book when its dark outside - all with the press of a button. Other reviews have said the seller recommends not using with a dimmer so we wrote customer service, didnt get an answer to the question so we took a chance on the combination of these products. So far, they are working well and doing exactly what we intended.

Wanted to connect this set to a set I bought last year but the connector does not have the metal piece for the electrical current to flow from one set to the other. Lights brighten up our camp at night.

The kit is complete if you have a duplex outlet. The light emitted is especially bright cold white. For interior atmosphere, 3000K would be better.

These are beautiful, SUPER BRIGHT, VERY WHITE lights. I put them all over the rail of my back deck, and in the dead of night, it still looks like daybreak. I leave my lights out 365 days a year - these have been out about 4 months now, and are just as bright now as they were. 3 issues which I didnt find actually mattered regarding the function of the lights: 1) DO NOT TURN THEM ON WHILE STILL WOUND UP. They get VERY HOT! (Once up, they are fine.) 2) The included screws for the brackets are too short to actually use. 3) The sleeves the cover the junctions between ropes do not tighten down tightly. They essentially just cover, not lock in place.

Our house is located on a dark street and has been targeted in the past by thieves and vandals. We purchased four of these kits to install under the eaves of our roof which provided excellent lighting. It took less than four hours for me and my wife to install the lights. We could have done it faster, but shes a perfectionist. I gave the installation a slightly less than perfect rating since some of the brackets in the kits were mis-shaped and didnt fit properly. But even that wasnt a big problem since we didnt use all of them anyway. I would recommend these to anyone wanting similar lighting for their home.

Just finished installing these lights and boy are they bright. Going to HD today to pick up a dimmer switch. They seem to be very well constructed compared to my old rope lights with connectors that fit well and an overall heavy duty feel to them. I trashed the original mounting hardware that came with the light kit in favor of some 1/2 wire fasteners from the electrical department at my local hardware store. The fasteners that came with the lights would probably do the job but didnt look like they would last in outdoor weather. I would have given this product 5 stars if it were not for the cheap fasteners and the poor instructions regarding where to cut the lights. To shorten the light strand make your cuts at the spaces that are clear, located about every 19 or 20 inches. Plenty of Youtube videos out there to help you figure this out as there were no markings on my lights to indicate where to cut.
