> 3 dayIt took a while to get it hooked up. But it really helped my MacBook pro 2012. Nothing was wrong with the SSD, it was a computer issue which slowed my installation. Really recommend for anyone with a older MacBook. It can make your stuff run like a 2020 computer.

Greater than one weekI was able to do a fresh install of Windows 10 rather quickly. The slowest part was getting the install files off of the DVD since I didnt have a spare USB flash drive sitting around. After that the installation was a matter of minutes. The computer boots much more quickly and feels more responsive as well when installing and opening programs.

> 3 dayYouTube showed me how to open the laptop and gain access to the original SATA drive. Once inside, installing the SSD drive is exceedingly easy. Then you just close up the laptop and install Windows. HP allows you to create a recovery USB drive before you change hard drives. Simply boot off the USB drive and go from there. Once Windows was reinstalled, and the laptop was up and running.... It was easy to tell it is SO much faster!!! Kingston is a brand name, and the price, drive size, and performance together are a huge value... Very impressed!
