Greater than one weekYouTube showed me how to open the laptop and gain access to the original SATA drive. Once inside, installing the SSD drive is exceedingly easy. Then you just close up the laptop and install Windows. HP allows you to create a recovery USB drive before you change hard drives. Simply boot off the USB drive and go from there. Once Windows was reinstalled, and the laptop was up and running.... It was easy to tell it is SO much faster!!! Kingston is a brand name, and the price, drive size, and performance together are a huge value... Very impressed!
