    I have a ten year old laptop that is slow but does everything I need it to. Ive replaced the mechanical drive once and decided to go a step further by replacing the mechanical drive with an SSD. Swapping out the old for the new took about ten minutes, and then it took about 90 minutes to move data on the mechanical drive to the SSD. Laptop response is much snappier and Ive saved myself the cost of a new computer.

    I bought a couple of these to replace dying hard drives in two laptops. Both booted up perfectly with the new Kingston 240 GB SSDs installed and Windows installation went quickly. Seems to have good read / write performance speeds.
