Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

My old standard disk drive went out finally on my Toshiba. So I replaced it with this. Boot time is insanely fast now. I love it. Wish Id done this sooner.

I bought this SSD because it was the cheapest one for this size. It was easy to install too.

Since install it has been solid and no issues. Super fast boot. I use it only as my OS and have a 1TB HDD for all data and programs.

I had zero problems with this Drive and my Laptop runs much faster now that I no longer have the old 5400 RPM HDD in it.

Would recommend to also get an SSD mount if youre replacing the typical 3.5 SATA drive, but not all computer cases are treated equal. Using this mostly for general work-at-home use and it works great. running win10 Pro. Works well if your desktop is a few years behind todays specs.

I personally prefer EVOs (currently 860), but these are noticeably cheaper. They are a great price for solid state and we have installed them in a number of desktops and laptops.

My laptop is 10 years old and a new ssd just brought my laptop back to when I first bought it. Everything is quick and responsive. Was honestly considering a new laptop but glad I went with this upgrade. Looking forward to using my laptop for the next 10+ more years.
