> 3 dayUse it for polishing brass in a tumbler. Much cheaper than buying tumbler media. Add a little Losso media activator and youre good to go. Not super dusty like some brands. Does the job.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my brother who has a rainbow lorikeet. It absorbs the smell which was a problem for him since his bird cages are in his room and the bird poops every 5 mins.

> 3 dayI bought this stuff to clean my firearms brass for reloading. Its exactly the same stuff being sold as brass cleaning media, but costs half the price. Just like with the walnut shell brass cleaning media... be careful to inspect the primer pocket and flash hole. This stuff can easily work its way into those cavities and cause you some problems if you fail to clear them prior to reloading your brass. Strange side note... I guess because this stuff is being sold as Pet Bird Litter, I found dried corn kernels, sunflower seeds and what appears to be watermelon seeds spread throughout the ground walnut shell. I removed most of the extra stuff by hand, what I didnt remove does not seem to bother the brass cleaning process. Brass still cleans up as it should.
