> 3 dayBest dressmaking scissors Ive ever had, other than the first pair of 8 Kais I bought a couple of years ago. Being a little larger, these allow for easier large cuts. As for the handle size being too large for some reviewers, I didnt find this to be the case. The handle is larger than on the 8 shears, but they really have to be to maintain a good balance. Love, love, love Kai!

> 3 dayI will preface this with my old scissors have been needing to be replaced for awhile, but these cut through fabric like a dream. Cutting out patterns had become a chore and now I find myself looking for new projects!

> 3 dayThe best pair of scissors I’ve owned. Most scissors I have used for cutting fleece dull very quickly. But these stand up to cutting fleece material. I have made 75 fleece blankets and there not dull. There well made, there sturdy easy to use. I love the length of the scissors.

> 3 dayFirst, let me say I love these scissors. (Can you love a scissors - well, turns out you can.) Pricey but worth every penny. My hands now get a bit stiffer than they used to and so I started to think I needed something else, maybe something sharper. Ive mainly used Ginghers, along with Singer and Fiskars and they have all worked well And Ive worked with lots of fabric types and leather over the years, making clothing, tents, sleeping bags, guitar cases, down jackets, upholstered chairs, shade sails, etc. Fast forward to the Covid pandemic. I was in the house every day staring at all those sewing and upholstery projects I hadnt gotten to yet and decided to treat myself and buy these. Wow. Whether you cut thru one layer of fabric or many layers, this is exceptionally dreamy to use. No lint build-up on the blade. No binding with layers. No squeaking. A very clean cut no matter what kind of fabric you are cutting and the pressure you need to apply is the same. My hands are thanking me.

> 3 dayI have been searching for scissors as I am a seamstress of children’s clothing and I have gone through so many pairs of scissors because they either hurt my hand when I am cutting the fabric or the dull really fast. Once I use these I knew this was going to be my go to scissors they cut the fabric like butter and they’re very sturdy and they don’t hurt my hand at all.

> 3 dayI bought a pair of these for myself and instantly fell in love. Theyre sharper than any pair of Ginghers Ive ever had, and they just fit nicely in my hand. I bought my sis-in-law a pair, and she thought I was being funny giving her a pair of junk scissors for Christmas, that was until she practically sliced her finger off messing with them like they were FIskars or some cheapo brand like that. She called me up as she was trying to stop the bleeding and told me they were the sharpest things shed ever touched! Last year when she passed away, my brother gave me some of her sewing stuff, and those scissors had been passed over as trash because someone had used them to cut wire or something and damaged the blades. I sent them back to KAI and requested a repair, and they re-sharpened them for me and did it for free in memory of my SIL. Excellent company and wonderful customer service!

> 3 dayBought these for my mom for Christmas. Shes an avid hobby seamstress. I had to try them out. They cut the cuff on a pair of denim jeans like it was fleece. Very sharp.
