> 3 dayI sew professionally and these are the only scissors I use. So much smoother and easier to use for hours than other brands, even the ubiquitous ones. Make the switch, you wont be sorry!

> 3 dayI absolutely love the 9-inch Kai 7230,they deserve more than 5 stars. I wanted to have a little longer blades and decided to buy the 10-inch Kai 7250. To my dismay, I found that their blades are only a couple of millimeters longer, but the handles are a whole inch bigger. Oh boy, I couldnt even operate them at all. Both of these shears are of a great quality. The craftsmanship is excellent. Smooth and sharp blades. Light weight too, which makes it easy to cut any fabric. The designers of the modern shears are having a strange idea that good ergonomics mean huge handles, the bigger the better. It would be more logical if the shears were sold by the size of the blades, in this case about 4 inch, and S, M, or L according to the size of the handles. If you have big hands go for it, if your hands are s/m the 9-inch shears will be perfect for you.

> 3 daySome superior products seems to be hiding in plane sight, this is one of them. I can vouch its soo much easy on your hands as compared to my expensive Gingher. The edge is ground on a steep angle as compared to regular shears, meaning it can cut your fingers just by touching the edges. And yes it can cut multiple layers of cloths, leather with sure ease. This is among one of those rare products which, after using you tend to not go back to any other brands. Good work, Kai!

> 3 dayOH.MY.GOODNESS. Pattern cut out about 20% of the way, new scissors arrived, so I raced to my cutting table to try them out! (Dont worry, I had the scissors pointed down, never run w/scissors! LOL) Excited, I cut about 12 along the edge of a sleeve, and was so freaking impressed, I had to stop and write this review. These are amazing, JUST AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Cutting the fleece is like cutting through warm butter, no resistance, smooth as silk. The handle is incredibly comfortable, and sized perfectly for my hands. I can see me cutting many many yards of fabric with these scissors. I have a lot of trouble with my hands, and I can tell within a minute if the grip isnt going to work. The grip/feel of the KAI is pure heaven. So what was I using/what have I used before? Fiskars Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride Scissor 8 - they chew, they dont cut. Theyre horrid. Ginghers - I had Ginghers for many years. They were always too small for my hands and very uncomfortable/painful to use if I cut a lot, or cut heavy fabrics. They were better than the Fiskars, but oh man, the Ginghers never cut with the smooth flow of these KAI. Why did I buy the initial set of Fiskars? Well... I returned to sewing after a 15+ year hiatus. Reading reviews, I bought the FISKARS Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride Scissor 8 (~62.00) based on reviews. At the time, I also bought a little tiny pair of KAI scissors. I wasnt familiar with the KAI brand, but a quilting instructor swore by the little ones, and nobody I know sews, so I was sort of a green horn where scissors were concerned. My Ginghers were mauled by paper cutting children, and relocated to one of my childrens homes never to be seen again. :) Save yourself aggravation and discomfort. These 8 KAI Prof. Shears are everything you could wish for, and then some. Yeah, theyre 55 bucks, but youll get what you pay for! Those Fiskars are now 62.00 paper scissors, banished to the gift wrapping box... Call me a KAI fan forever.

> 3 dayI have been sewing for a long time and never have I had such a sharp smooth pair of shears. When they said professional, they mean it. I went back and bought the pro 7000 series 4 1/2 inch scissors and will buy a 6 inch pair when I get more money. I dont notice my hand arthritis as much with these easy to use scissors. Will never buy another pair of fiskars again for myself.
