Perfect for what I needed it for.

I had a small one from another brand and I only works on phones, sometimes you worried that it would fall by slapping it accidentally. This is weights enough that I dont have such concenrn.

I have a 12.9 inch iPad, and I bought this to securely hold the iPad at a good viewing angle for riding my bike indoors on a trainer and using the Zwift app. I had some concern when I bought this that it might not be big enough to hold a large iPad securely or that I would wish that I could adjust the tension of the arms. It turns out that I didnt need to worry about either issue. My iPad feels secure whether placed horizontally or vertically. I suppose its possible that there will be a problem with tension in the arms at some point, but for now it remains in whatever position I put it in, with no indication that this will change. I also like that there are pads on every surface that touches the tablet. Finally, I have one of the standard magnetic Apple covers that I could easily remove, but theres no need. Theres plenty of room for the iPad and its cover in the holder. In short, Im very pleased.

I got this for my kid who is in KG distanced learning. His school supplied I pad came with the standard cover with built in stand, but the angle was always off, looking up at him. This stand helped lift the ipad up off the table so it was closer to eye level and the multiple tilt adjustments helped get the proper angle. The constructions seems good, its a bit stiff to adjust but thats not a bad thing.

I love this stand because it keeps my auxiliary portrait monitor at just the perfect height and angle.

This stand has been really helpful for displaying my iPad during long hours of medical school study. Its easy to transport in my bag especially with the bag it comes with. My complaints are that it comes quite stiff so I used table tops for leverage to close it back up. It also can topple over if I open it up too tall which is right in line with my eyes, so I have to lower it a bit for stability. Otherwise its a sturdy tool that is easy to use and take with me to campus.

Absolutely Love this STAND! We have purchased several stands, over the years. Six months later it still works and looks brand new. Very sturdy. Excellent design. Adjustable. Love IT.
