> 3 dayI needed this for my RODI under sink unit. I originally bought an EZ Angle Stop Adapter.. and that was a HUGE mistake. Leaked like crazy and nothing I did could stop it. This part however works like a charm, solid construction with no leaks! If you have a leaky EZ Angle Stop Adapter, this is the answer. A few things not list about this part is that the female 3/8 NPT comes with a nice rubber gasket, so no need to use plumbers tape on it. Also the entire PVC center swivels independently of the main unit, so you can position it perfectly even after tightening it down. Installation took less than 10 minutes.

> 3 dayI bought this product to split the water line under my kitchen sink. The 3/8 line goes to the sink and the 1/4 line goes to a water filter. What all can I say? It works without springing a leak. I only tested the valve a few times when I first installed it. If you are turning it on and off 20+ times a day, it might wear out, but I cant think of any applications which would require you to do so. Use some plumbers tape over the metal threads on the source 3/8 line and the 3/8 output.

> 3 dayThis is just what I needed. Very well made. Its a plastic valve but it looks like it will last a long time. A piece of advice though. the 3/8 refers to the inside of the water supply line. It will fit a 1/2 compression thread. This gets very confusing since it is not specified and a lot of the fittings refers to the thread rather than the inner tube diameter...

> 3 dayI bought the wrong size, but it does its job even if I had to swap for a different one.

> 3 dayThis is the missing part you couldnt figure out when you came up with that idea that you needed an easier way to fill your Keurig coffee maker. This screw onto the normal 3/8 compression fitting that most everyone has at the end of their under sink water supply valves. The water supply hose then screws perfectly on the male end, giving you a tee connection that you can turn on/off while changing filters, putting it together, etc. It has a 1/4 push connect tubing female connector that will then go into the IN side of your filter, then you attach another 1/4 tubing from the OUT side of the filter to whatever device you rigged up to fill the Keurig tank. I used a straight 1/4 tubing to 3/8 MIP (male iron pipe thread) valve, threaded it onto a brass ell and drilled a hole in the tank near the rear top. I used a brass hose barb to 3/8 FIP (female iron pipe thread) to screw into the above thru the plastic tank. Then I attached a small length of tubing to the brass barb and aimed it down into the tank so I wouldnt get splashing around the lid. I also used a couple of rubber O-rings to gasket between the ell and the hose barb to prevent leaks on the side of the tank. Turn on the valve at the tank and fill it as needed quickly. Of course, if you want to trust a float valve, you could put one in, but I was wary of trusting one.

> 3 dayWorked like a champ for a water filter/ice maker tap. Didnt leak and the 1/4 side rotates to match the angle needed, that was a plus. Cheaper than my local home improvement stores buy a lot.

> 3 dayBought a new sink and the fitting for my water filter didnt fit the 3/4 connections. Local hardware didnt have these JG fittings, which I needed as my water filter uses the 1/4 plastic tubing. Bought this, and in less than 5 min had my water filter hooked back up.

17-11-2024Used this adaptor valve to connect my existing Watts Premier RO-Pure to the new Moen kitchen faucet I had newly purchased. A well made product and easy to install. Highly recommended.

Greater than one weekThis worked fine, and the plastic valve rotates around the metal fitting, so you can swivel it around to point where you want it to.
