14-11-2024I mightve only hit the silicon lottery where in identical CPUs still perform differently than one another, but this CPU is consistently hitting 5k with ASUS AI Overclocking and 4266 RAM, Im LOVING IT! I really do think Intel made a mistake with the 9th gen CPUs and made the i7 too good, too close to i9 performance. This is good for us but bad for anyone who spent extra on an i9 :)

The original was incompatible with an Intel 370 motherboards BIOS, meaning a home-built PC refused to boot, driving us all crazy looking for the cause. I found that this chip did not have that compatibility problem though it is comparable in power. Returned first one, installed this, PC came to life, Christmas was saved. Result.

> 3 dayI love this CPUs performance and price. one thing to be aware of is making sure your motherboards bios is updated before installation so it wont freeze on startup.
