took a bit longer than other stuff, but was in before the deadline that was stated at purchase...quite satisfied

I draw house plans and plans for small commercial buildings. I built my own computer right after this processor came out years ago, teamed it with an intel mother board, and have using it eight to ten hours daily ever since. It is fast, reliable and durable. I have recently expanded and took on another employee. I used the same processer in the computer I built for her. Both are performing perfectly and will run Chief Architect X 12 just fine.

The single core performance when air cooled is around same as last generation i7-8700k, multi core for upto 8 threads is 10-12% faster when number of threads increase it seems a bit slower than i7-8700k.

Great processor, although the jump from an 8700k to this is not worth it in terms of price/preformance. Overclocking is fine, and temps are great with the h100i pro from corsair, but the extra cost compared to the 8700k doesnt make it worth it.
