Absolutely love this processor. Everything I wanted coming from a first gen i7.

Its a little hotter than most but a great all round cpu.

Its hard to review a commodity part, but I found this to be packaged well and it was easy to determine the proper orientation to install it. I havent overclocked it yet, so I dont know if I won the silicon lottery, but Im pretty happy with the default performance.

Some would argue that an i9 9900k is better. I disagree. A 9900k gives you very little return for the premium that you pay over an i7 9700k. This isnt the cheapest but If you are aiming for a $2000ish PC build -- go for a 9700k.

If you need multi threading buy RYZEN 2700X! If you dont need it buy this one!
