Una bomba per giocare fare streaming e da overcloccare si riesce a spingerlo tranquillamente a 5.2 che e anche più con un buon raffreddamento liquido che dire assolutamente best buy

Nonostante il fatto che le CPU in media che, come nel mio caso, in presenza di schede video dedicate, non siano ormai più sfruttate molto nei videogiochi, questo rimane un bel processore, non cè da dire altro. Il vantaggio principale è che mentre sto utilizzando il computer posso contemporaneamente utilizzare più di un software in background (anche pesanti) senza accusare rallentamenti. Inoltre in passato ho avuto a che fare con Intel per una restituzione, in quel caso la scheda madre, diventata difettosa senza nemmeno preavviso, aveva bruciato la CPU a causa di un bug sul VRM nel firmware (che personalmente ho identificato solo dopo). Nella mia vita non ho mai visto invece CPU intel difettose che si guastano senza motivo e comunque Intel me laveva sostituito senza farsi troppi problemi nonostante avrebbe potuto non farlo. Da quel giorno compro solo Intel. Raccomanderei sia Intel che Amazon in quanto, viste le esperienze precedenti, hanno politiche di supporto molto simili.

The 8700K has 6 cores but 12 threads. This newer CPU is just a marketing gimmick by intel and is actually a disabled 8700K (no hyper-threading) with 2 more cores that add no value. The clock speed increase on a K series chip is meaningless and also a marketing gimmick due to the ability of everyone to overclock these K series chips and the fact that the specs are lies plus we always have overkill cooling.

At first it wouldnt go above 3.6ghz under load, I guess turbo wouldnt work even though my z390 supports 8th and 9th gen. I had to overclock to 5ghz on all cores at 1.325v. According to userbench my 9700k is now in the top 97%. I could get it to 5.4ghz at 1.45v but it wasnt stable (Would crash randomly either on startup or 40 mins into a game) and I didnt feel like tweaking it anymore so I just settled for the 5ghz clock and it has been stable for 2 weeks

Just as described! Great upgrade for gaming/streaming, didn’t notice much of a difference from my i5 for things like opening apps, browsing the internet, or watching YouTube

Its a processor, so theres the silicon lottery involved. Mine overclocks pretty well, it works as intended.

I briefly flirted with AMD Ryzen CPUs. I was disappointed with the performance & stability. I switched back to Intel. The 9 series i7 CPU is a phenomenal processor. Mine is running on a fast Gigabyte Motherboard, 32 GB DDR4, 3400MHz RAM, a Samsung EVO 970 1 GB NVMe SSD, and an EVGA GTX 1050ti graphics card. Its the fastest machine Ive ever built. I loaded up a dozen big spreadsheets, huge PowerPoint presentations, Amazon Music HD playing at 24bit/192KHz, YouTube videos, Outlook, Visio presentations, and this machine never flinched. Highly recommend, great value
