I just finished building a gaming & streaming PC for my son. I wanted the best Intel gaming processor available without going to the new i9 which still runs around $1000. This Intel Core i7-8086K Limited Edition Desktop Processor was exactly what I wanted. 6 cores & 12 threads. Its listed as 4 Ghz with 5 Ghz turbo, and I can confirm my ASUS PRIME Z370-A LGA1151 board had no issues setting the auto overclock to 5.2 Ghz for benchmarking & gaming. If you can afford this (currently @ $450ish on Amazon) you will not be disappointed. A+

The CPU Ive received I would like to say is faulty. I can not do anything without it stuttering. Ive tried troubleshooting it myself by buying water coolant for it, and downloading additional software to get it to work properly but it still doesnt not work to my expectations. Ive seen all the reviews for it and how great this product is but unfortunately the one Ive received if not up to par. I cannot give this a good rating because of this, the my main purpose for my rig is for gaming and due to the poor performance of this CPU, my performance in my gaming is suffering. The stuttering got so bad that I could not even watch a YouTube video and moving my mouse caused the video to stutter. During gaming its good one minute than another you will start teleporting everywhere.

Used this processor to upgrade on the next level of gaming and it’s amazing! It improved my FPS and I can’t believe how smooth it was. I upgraded it from a i5-8400 to i7-8700K and just letting everyone know that it’s worth the upgrade!

Reliable as always and very fast compared to my old quad core. Amazon delivers very fast in suitable packaging for a great price.

Upgraded my PC and placed this on an Auros Gaming 7 motherboard and 1080ti GPU. Works great! Ised grizzly lowuid metal compound for thermal conductivity. PC operating super well!
