This is a fantastic processor, item arrived before expected, finally got it up and running the following day and the performance so far has been fantastic, paired with a GTX1080 and games played up to now at least have been nice and smooth and its stays relatively cool while turbo-boosted up to about 4.4GHz, cant complain really

I waited a while to replace my old i7 processor (1st gen) I almost bought the 8700k but glad I waited. I ordered this 8086k as soon as it was announced. I have an Aorus Gaming 5 motherboard with Corsair !6Gb RAM, Corsair Hydra H75 water cooler. I have a 8Gb RX480 Nitro video card. I’m not a gamer, I’m a photographer so Lightroom and Photoshop performance is my concern. Let me tell you it’s fantastic. Imports, previews, exports are lightning fast. Best choice for me by far. I obtain 5Ghz without any effort at all and stays a cool 29-34 degrees Celsius.

Blistering fast processor. I have mine liquid cooled with no overclock and it runs no higher than 60c under full load. This thing is a must have for any gamer!

As said in the title a waste of time as the item arrived broken. like new doesnt mean what it used to.

Amazing preformance at low temperatures

Now if only they can make OS Windows run faster without all the back end spyware. This thing would work great. Since Windows XP Windows and Apple have a back end log of users on the system that periodically gets sent to the OS and this encryptic process as well as other things slow down computers.
