Believe it or not, but under that huge cooler is the Intel Core i7-12700K processor. While I intend to later upgrade to discrete graphics, initially I am using the GPU that is internal to the processor. It was satisfying when I threw the switch the first time and everything just worked. The GPU was powerful enough to run some virtual world software that I use at a good frame rate. I believe I made the right choice in this processor.

I got 5.3Ghz across all 8 p cores 75° average running multiple loups of conebench r23 at 1.385 volts

Fast and great CPU! If you are just strictly going to game just go with the i5! But I do both game and editing so this is a great CPU to start with.

Works great, very fast, does everything I need it to do, runs Windows 11 Great, Gaming is Great.

Cpu works great. Performance is unreal. Only complaint isn’t with the cpu itself but with delivery. Only reason for 4 stars is Packaging was TERRIBLE! Box was smooshed so bad I’m surprised it actually works

Excellent upgrade option.

This is the most anyone should need for a while as of 2022 (at least for gaming).

This thing is a beast, I have not countered any issues whatsoever. Awesome upgrade!
