Greater than one weekI ordered this to protect my new aquarium heater. I have heard many horror stories about heaters cooking fish. I have been using a Finex on my old aquarium and it worked well but very expensive. I found this inkbird unit on amazon. It is 1/2 the price I paid for the Finex 10 years ago. This Inkbird is great! It has features the Finex does not have. You can calibrate the temperature reading to match your digital thermometer. Also you can program it to change the temperature at night to mimic nature. Water cools at night naturally when the sun goes down. After setting it up on my new tank I ordered a second one for my old tank. Retired the Finex. The only problem I had is the directions are terrible on how to program this. I went on you tube and found a video that explained it so I could get it set up properly. This product is a winner for me. If it had better directions it would get 5 stars. Buy it!

> 3 daySo far Ive used this in my 75g aquarium for about a month. This controler is pretty simple to set up and has worked great in the Fahrenheit setting. This one seems to be the best version for aquariums and seems to have a sealed probe. The only downside Ive found is when using this in the Celsius setting, the temperature never got up to where I wanted it and had a large temperature range, causing major water temperature swings. I have since switched over to Fahrenheit and has worked perfectly within 1 degree. I have just purchased a second one for a nano tank and will update my review if any unreasonable malfunctions happen.

> 3 dayI needed just heating. A lot of inkbird products provide heating and cooling which is not what I need. I used this for a reef aquarium and it works perfectly fine.

> 3 dayI love the duel screens that show actual and desired temp. Also it is so nice to finally have a timer that can maintain two different temps for day and night. Once I deciphered the instruction pages it was fairly simple to use. It took me a good 30 minutes of reading it over multiple times to understand what the menus and codes actually meant. You have to memorize the sequence of program steps because if you have to look at the manual for too long mid process it will time out and you have to start it over. Luckily it’s set it and forget it. I should have written down the instructions for myself in clear English while it was still fresh so I can remember how to use it when I need to change something.

> 3 dayI bought this temperature controller for my 150 gallon aquarium, it has been a very good product, I received it with the plastic probe that looks quite resistant and has been very precise, in general, the product quality looks very good, Once you have understood the functions of each parameter, it is very easy to configure, the possibility of setting day / night schedules seems excellent. for the price you pay it is an amazing product

> 3 dayUsed a little more than a month. Took a little reading to understand and I watched a YouTube video to make sure I did everything right and so far so good. Power went out and it came back on without needing to re-set it.
