After figuring out how to program the temp controller, its worked great! The main displays are the PV and SV. The PV shows the current outside temperature. The SV is what you set the trigger temp to be. When the PV drops below the SV, the controller powers up both plug-ins. Mine is set up in an outside greenhouse, and its kept my plants alive this winter.

Customer service for one is on point and will try to correct the issue but this season I bought 4 units and all 4 lasted less than 3 months. They sent me 4 more for free, still all 4 went bad. As a small business owner this is not reliable enough for me as one it sets me back with wrong temps. Save you time and your hairline and buy a digiten, 2 years running strong. Pic is of the 2 working in the same setup, inkbird is off by a lot!

Easy to program, works correctly. Bought it when the chicks were babies and they are about 10 weeks old now.

I ordered this to protect my new aquarium heater. I have heard many horror stories about heaters cooking fish. I have been using a Finex on my old aquarium and it worked well but very expensive. I found this inkbird unit on amazon. It is 1/2 the price I paid for the Finex 10 years ago. This Inkbird is great! It has features the Finex does not have. You can calibrate the temperature reading to match your digital thermometer. Also you can program it to change the temperature at night to mimic nature. Water cools at night naturally when the sun goes down. After setting it up on my new tank I ordered a second one for my old tank. Retired the Finex. The only problem I had is the directions are terrible on how to program this. I went on you tube and found a video that explained it so I could get it set up properly. This product is a winner for me. If it had better directions it would get 5 stars. Buy it!
