iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

I have been an electrician since late 70s and appreciate well made tools. this is a great set in my opinion. I needed the smallest pin torx (6) and rather than hunt around for one bit, I saw this and grabbed it. really nice so far.

Ive used this kit to disassemble and reassemble myriad electronics. It works quite well and the sheer variety of bits gives me confidence that I can tackle any project that comes my way. Ive used this to work on watches, automotive head units, and other things. The spudger and opening tools are a great way to open/release things without risking marring adjacent surfaces. The cost may seem steep at first, but having the right tools for the job always beats improvising with something that will work half as well. I highly recommend this kit for any hobbyist or even professional who wants to work with intricate fasteners in watches, computers, or any other electronics.

Everything you could ever need for fixing computers and other projects that have small objects. The screwdriver spins nicely in the hand.

I work with laptops and desktops and use this kit every day. yes, some bits do break (I wasnt kidding wheni said use them evey day), but they dont break nearly as fast as cheap screwdriver kits. plus, it has very convenient storage solution

It is way more than I required to do the job, but it is a complete package with many different tools. This will come in handy for much more than phone repairs.

Nice build quality for the bit set. The plastic pry tools are what plastic is, only good for so much pressure. Dont forget, they are thin edged to get into the small cracks.

Some tools are great like the tool bits and the screwdriver but some others you will never use or are built in a way that I wouldnt recommend the usage

Love this little kit to death. BUT..my screwdriver has broken after about 10 uses. It still works so its not technically broken but I expect better for the price. The top has started to separate from the main body of it. Theres a good 1/4 inch of separation for no reason. I checked out the warranty info and to be honest, its pretty unclear. If I cant get it replaced Ill just buy much cheaper with the understanding they probably will break and be fine with it.
