It is an absolute great product it will fit all of your repair needs it has a magnet plate to sit down your screws and the lid for the tools also have it sectioned off so you can organize them

This tool kit is great for doing all sorts of repairs. The driver set has just about every tip you could ever need, and then probably some. All the tools are sturdy and have held up to a couple of laptops without any signs of wear. The case makes it convenient to carry around, and everything has a home at the end of the day inside it.

I struggled to justify spending the money on this when there are so many copies here on Amazon for way less than half the price. I finally decided that I wanted a kit with quality, durable tools. And I went for it. I’m so happy that I did. So far I have completely disassembled 2 Xbox One controllers and replaced the screen on my Son’s Kindle Fire HD8. The Xbox One controllers were mostly fixed with just a good cleaning. One had a sticky A button and both had D pad issues. But no more. I currently have a replacement screen on order for my Asus TF700 Transformer tablet. Theses tools have worked great for all these repairs! I highly recommend taking the plunge and getting these instead of the cheaper ones. You won’t regret it!

looks a bit pricey at first... but since I have it I was able to do repairs I had thought out of my reach before. I think the set is well studied . A magnetic feature on the screwdriver handles would have been nice.. a magnifying glass maybe and time will tell if it holds up

The set is OK, But why would you laser engrave in black on black foam making it very difficult to see the ID numbers of the individual tips? A simple black & white flash card should be included. Also - the wrap around canvas cover doesnt match up well where the velcro tabs meet. I dont see how they can say that the list price is 80.00 when their own website has it for 59.00. Part of a marketing ploy I guess. Silly and childish to think we wouldnt notice this. Other than those issues the quality is good, Pricy...

This kit is amazing, and so is the company that makes it. IFixit has done wonders for the Right to Repair movement. If you are tired of having to pay to fix you phones, laptops, tablets, or other small electronic devices, and want to do it your self, this is the kit to have.
