> 3 dayMain problem is you have to read all 3 books or you will be left hanging. The first 2 books ended in cliffhangers. So have to read all 3.

> 3 dayUnfortunately, the ending was too predictable. I had it figured out about halfway through. Author did a good job of revealing it, however. There were several typos that a good editor would have found. I DO want to read the promised sequel, which the book says should be out already, but doesnt appear to be. I hope that means it will be soon!

> 3 dayOne of the very best psychological thrillers I have ever read. The ending had me racing back over to Amazon for book 2! I have such great sorrow for Eleanore, the abused victim, and I like Detective Ramirez so much. First book I have read with a Spanish detective - cool. Filled with a lot of surprises, all of which fit into a logical pattern. I highly recommend this book.

> 3 dayGreat story with strong characters that make you feel so much reading about them. Ellenore goes through so much as a child, it is truly sad and heart breaking.

> 3 dayAbsolutely hated the ending!!! I think this is a sequel. I wont even waste the money. A lot of this book is highly unbelievable. What the author writes how this girl was abused is unbelievable. She would be in a hospital with extremely serious injuries or dead. Then the ending......

> 3 day**Just a quick note before my review…this book contains situations that some people might be offended by or may have a hard time reading. This is not a book for the faint of heart or someone who may have issues abuse triggers. Now onto my review… Ditter Kellen has done an amazing job writing I Am Elle. I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I am not a big fan of Psychological Thrillers. I knew that there was going to be triggers in the book, but that did not stop me from reading the book. I felt that she approached these triggers in a way that did not make me super uncomfortable. She leads you to the situation without going overboard. Our brains are smart enough to stop the things we could imagine if they become too much. Below is my breakdown of the book without giving away too much. I Am Elle is truly a unique book for many reasons. The main character Elenore “Elle” Griffin is a young girl who has been brutalized both physical and emotional by her father Elijah Griffin. Her mother disappears out of her life at an early age. She does recall some memories of her mom throughout the book. Elijah at times would sell his poor daughter off to others and let them have their way with her. When people start to go missing in the small-town Detective Evan Ramirez comes help the local police department. Upon meeting Elenore he finds that he has a need to help her and protect her. Detective Ramirez is trying to piece together the whole picture. He is working on the missing person’s cases and trying to help Elenore. He knows that she is in a bad place and that her father may have some involvement with the missing people. I Am Elle takes us for on many twists and turns. I would highly recommend this book to others to read. I really had no idea that is how it would end. I am pretty sure that I had to go back and read it again to be sure of what I had read. I feel the need to end my review with WOW!!!
