Works well. Tracking is accurate and fast.

Same station that came with the index. Plugged in and conected to the system automatically. The only difference is the power cord which is slightly shorter and a different shape on the plug. No mounting hardware and $50 more than if you got from valve directly... But they are sold out at the time of writing. A good mount is only $10-20 so if you need one now, this is worth it.

Power cord could be longer and the price could be lower.

Improves tracking in large playspaces and reduces the chance of losing tracking from occlusion.

Came fast and will see if working fine most likely it will so im not to worried about that

so I ordered 2 of these and 1st 1 I opened was new with protective sticker over face and power supply in bag. the 2nd 1 I opened was missing protective sticker, had minor scratches and smudges and power supply didnt have a bag and no twist tie with fingerprints. ok I can live with that, then I plug it in everything looks good for 2 seconds then I get the flashing red light indicating hardware failure... not cool

Works perfectly. Price is just steeper than on Steam, but they have been out of stock on steam so I went with this.

Im disappointed with this product. The cord is far shorter than the one that Valve sells, but this one costs over fifty dollars more. I would recommend waiting for a valve restock to get base stations instead of buying this from HTC.

This is nothing more than an Valve Index base station in HTC packaging. And while the price is $50 more than what Steam lists theirs at, you get less in the box. The Steam version includes: a 15 power cable, Mounting Equipment, Regional Power Adapters, and a cleaning cloth. Dont Buy HTCs version unless Steams listing is Out of Stock or unavailable in your region.
