dislike monitor screen qa controls takes time to figure out doesnt shut off when i shut down pc i like sliders on all controls and qa controls dont have them monitor actually was hazy when starting use ( actually became quite good after some time) likes no pixel damages easy to assemble screen quality exellent very good monitor for the money would i buy it again no it is a good monitor for normal use but not so good for gaming and watching sporting games and online videos ( but of course im a perfectionist so to speak) maybe after a while ill get used to this monitor So take this or leave it its cheap enough to try it and if you dont like (probably will though) then you can toss it and get a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate monitor. they will cost you alot more this is an up date i am down grading this item because i cannot stop the flickering.... also in watching football replays the action is a little bit distorted. I think the problem with this monitor is sis the response times.... any way i dont recommend this monitor for anything other than word processing definately not for watching videos or games online havnt tried playing dvds but suspect dvd may be ok note i just tried this monitor with a dvd player and i could tell the response time is a bit off... im not gonna use this monitor i probably will give it to someone dont like returning thru amazon my sincere appraisal dont buy ... spend the extra money there are some brands that are 2ms 144hz for 50 -70 $ more

I pulled this out of the box and set it up. I found the packaging to be cheaply done. Also the basic setup and layout was not good. The connections are on the bottom and not the back and after getting the base on I had to find a flat place to lay it down to see where my connections were. THEN, I could find the power switch. Turns our there is a round button on the back that LOOKed like power but is actually the settings button. I did not feel the button on the bottom right where I expected it to be. It was there but I missed it. So, in short I spent 15 minutes getting angry that it wouldnt turn on. The instructions are a joke (as is expected these days). But there was not a word of English anywhere. And the graphic / image instructions say nothing about the power button or the brighness, contrast (settings) button on the back. Well, its on now and look good. But the ramp up which should have been an easy 5 minutes was much longer.

Unit is packaged well but was drop on delivery by delivery guy. Out of all 3 he dropped only one has a issue with 3 little dots in right bottom corner. Good picture for the price, but to get the best Resolution the device providing the picture needs to be capable of the max resolution.

I purchased two of these monitors on prime days because they had a good price and I needed new monitors for my home office There were a few bad reviews of the monitors going out but they were also several good reviews so I decided to give them a shot I regretted that decision within a week In less than five days the first monitor just went black while I was working I contacted Amazon and initially they told me I had to reach out to HP I disputed that with Amazon customer service and said absolutely not since I just bought them and Amazon service did agree to send me a replacement and I returned the defective one The second monitor did the exact same thing in less than 40 days Again while working the monitor just went black Note these monitors are only used in my home office I work about 8 to 10 hours a day so they are not getting excessive gaming use they’re not getting overheated it’s just standard use for working in an office environment The picture on the monitors when they work is great for what I need it for I can’t see how it would be for gaming or anything else but for doing spreadsheets and word documents the picture was fine However they do not last and when you rely heavily on multiple monitors to work when they go out in your left with just one monitor or a small 15 inch laptop it makes it very difficult to be productive I normally do not buy HP brand because I’m not a fan of the quality and these monitors are no exceptions I should’ve stuck to my rule of no HP products and not purchase these items as the quality is very very poor

The picture quality isnt very good at all, but the built in speakers are impressive for what they are. I can see the backlight showing through on the bottom corners of my screen, although they can be ignored when bright pictures are being displayed. Its also worth mentioning that this screen looks very dull sometimes, and colors really dont stand out very well. However, that can also be ignored after getting used to the experience. As for the speakers, they are in the back of the monitor. They have a great sound quality compared to what I thought they would be. Overall, the monitor would be fine for basic office work. The built in speakers arent much, yet they are clear and loud enough to understand perfectly. It will also keep your desk free of clutter to not require stand-alone speakers.

I was initially worried about getting a monitor for less than $200. But so far this is great. Simple buttons make it easy to use compared to the 27” monitor this replaced. The picture quality it fine but I just use it for work, no gaming. I can tell the slight difference in image crispness on my adjacent HP monitor that costs about $100 more, but I am satisfied with this cheaper one.

I don’t use my monitor for gaming so I cannot comment on that. The monitors is fine but I ordered the same one I ordered the last time it is different so they must’ve changed it.

My sons 2nd monitor went out on his gaming computer. Since it’s his second he wasn’t worried about refresh rates just wanted if for Discord etc…. It came with the HDMI cable and the speaker cable but no Display Port cable. Lucky I work on IT and had one but the box was supposed to come with it

This is a decent, reasonably priced desktop PC monitor. I only give it 4 stars because I personally prefer a much smaller monitor. I really like that is has speakers built in. My PC was a refurbished one that did not cooperate with separate plug-in speakers and I did try several models of stand alone speakers. I finally have sound! The only caveat is that Vudu movies are still almost impossible to hear through these speakers. Again, a personal preference. Vudu movies seem to be no longer compatible with any device. I can hear YouTube videos with no trouble. Further, I really like that the stand doesnt take up much room and I can store my Funko Pop figures, lotions, and dog treats under the monitor.

The HP M27ha FHD Monitor is an affordable option for those looking for a great work from home setup. The optimized screen offers crisp pictures on a full HD display with ultra-wide viewing angles. You can stare at the 27-inch monitor all day since HP Low Blue Light software filters blue light without leaving the yellow tint. The comfortability continues as you adjust your computer monitor’s height or pivot to your liking and use the VESA mounting compatibility to find the right position in your home office. You will finally achieve your multimedia setup as you enjoy convenient audio built into the display and utilize HDMI, DisplayPort™, and VGA ports.
