> 3 dayIf you are here to check comments youve found the right one. So I didnt know I needed this. My mom recommended it when she gifted me a custom made cutting board. So I ordered this dual set. After reading how to use... I applied the thin one and let it set overnight (on an older board 1st. Lets not accidentally ruin the nice one mom bought). Nice even, thick coat. Youll understand once you start. I used my hand. Why? Because I didnt want to waste oroduct in a towl, sponge, etc. (Think mineral oil thick.) I sat it on a cardboard box overnight. Almost every bit was absorbed. Not like my hand which are now silky smooth. I wiped off the little excess and had a fully restored board. Used, washed, used, washed... added the other bottle. Now this one is nice. Its like mineral oil and wax feeling. *not ingredients, only my idea of texture* I have now restored numerous cutting boards, spoons, etc. This stuff is amazing. Its thick messy feeling isnt the greatest but I know I am rehydration my boards to extend their lives and keep them looking beautiful. **at 1st it appeared to really darken my cutting boards but, after a few days they looked like normal. I thought I over oiled them but I didnt.** Definitely a kitchen Must Have. Food grade perfection for cutting boards, blocks, wooden spoons, etc

> 3 dayGot the 2 pack of conditioner and oil. Not much of a complaint as a note, these pretty much overlap in use in my opinion. Both of them instruct you to apply a few coats, and both of them contain lots of oil. If your wood is in decent shape, you may not need the conditioner, and if you have old beat up wood that needs some life restored, the conditioner may be best. Anyway, this is a bit of a chore, and applying 3-4 coats is quite the job. It did the job for me and restored the color and waterproof properties desired in a cutting board. I also treated an Ikea butcher block counter top we have and it restored its luster as well.

12-11-2024Purchased to condition new cutting/carving board along with wooden utensils. Applied 4 coats of oil per instructions. Was only ably to use the conditioning coating 2 times as my wood was fully hydrated and would not absorb any more. It is water repellent and fully conditioned. Also used for a set of wooden salad bowls and new wooden utensils I use for cooking. I am very satisfied with the product and recommend the seller without reservation.
