> 3 dayI never thought about having my butcher blocks on display in the kitchen, but after using this conditioning oil and wax on them, I will. The products are made with USP food-grade mineral oil and wax. I used them on an old set that had never been properly “seasoned” and a brand-new set. The old butcher block still has scratches from years of use, but it revived the dry look of the wood. The new set is ready to use. According to the instructions, the oil goes on first. Two coats are applied and allowed to dry before the wax is used. Finishing with the wax is an optional but extra step I wanted to take to protect my new butcher blocks. I love how the wood looks afterward. These products are also great for wood utensils to keep them from drying out and cracking.

Greater than one weekWe’ve used the oil for a few months since having butcher block counters installed in the kitchen and it’s been great. Easy to apply, doesn’t take long, doesn’t smell. But when needing more we decided to buy the wax too. What a difference! Water heads up on the counter and so far they seem to last longer before getting that oil-thirsty look. Very happy!

> 3 dayThis is must have for any wood cutting board and salad bowls - secret, clean first with the oil and wipe it well and clean then spread some conditioner and massage in the wood - let it sit for 5 min the clean all the excess and clean very well, ALL the excess until it looks there is none left

08-11-2024I nor my parents have used oils or conditioners on kitchen utensils before. I moved out of my parents place a few years ago and have been using my boyfriends utensils, mostly plastic utensils, but some of them were bamboo (which were heavily used and poorly maintained). I recently bought new wooden spoons cause I bought some ceramic pots and pans. After researching how to care for wood utensils I bought this oil and conditioner set. My new utensils look a little nicer and water seems to slide off. The conditioner gives off the smell of honey when you have freshly put it on the wood.

> 3 dayI have a 12ft x 5ft. Butcher-block countertop. It is a cooks top. I cut, chop, dice+++on this top. I keep it clean however, it loses its beauty - shows wear and tear in some spots. To make this a show stopper, I used the Howard Butcher Block conditioner and oil. It made a marked difference. I doubled up on the area that is used for cooking - cannot tell the difference from that which is not touched by cooking utensils. GET IT - READ the Directions - USE IT!! Gorgeous Results!!

09-11-2024I inserted a raw wood butcher block for my island . I didnt want to finish with stain or chemicals because i roll my dough and make bread on this wood. This is a natural product and it gave my butcher block a warm look. The only problem would be , you would have to treat your island at night so it has time to absorb the oil and rub it down good afterwards or It can leave oil on magazines or paper you might place on it. But I have had very few episodes of this because I take the time to rub the oil in. I love this product and will continue to use it. And by the way the cloth I use to wipe on my oil and wipe it off I store in a quart jar with a lid on it and I pull it out periodically to wipe down my book case, wood furniture, cabinets and all wood bowels and decorations. By using the cloth in the jar it limits the oil on wood products and reduces the chances of getting oil on papers and other items.. hope this helps. Its a good natural product. I gave it 4 stars just because of the oil that is left on surfaces if you dont rub it in good but otherwise it gets a 5 star.

> 3 dayI brought this for my boyfriend to use on his cutting board I brought him for his birthday. It coats nicely and is easy to use. I just poured some on the surface and took a microfiber cloth and rubbed it in. It deepened the wood color and shined it up nicely. Recommend
