These worked good to hold the wire on a single strand of lights and werent as obtrusive looking as those multi-purpose light hangers you see at the big box stores. Im not sure it will work with the larger vintage style lights, but worked great for the modern lights.

Fit perfectly on gutters and shingles. One handed install made being high on a ladder a lot safer. They flex and fit different size areas without breaking or losing shape.

Smaller than expected for hanging lights on gutters.

I was hoping to hang lights on my balcony railing, but they were just too small. Nothing wrong with them - Im sure they will work on smaller bases like gutters.
