Dropped an entire string of Edison lights, about 20 clips every one of them broke after a couple months. Busted a bunch of the bulbs, would not recommend!

These are really strong and work perfectly. Make sure to check the gutter design and your be fine. Update: we had 100 mph wind at my house and none of these broke. These are truly perfect.

I used these to hang string lights on the gutter over my backyard patio. The clips lasted from July to today. I don’t know if it was the heat or weather exposure but the clips just snapped in half and had my string lights come down. Luckily they send you so many that I was able to replace them.

These clips attach to the rain gutter and make it very easy to hang strings of Christmas lights. (WAY easier than nails or cup hooks.) They appear to be pretty sturdy (havent broken any yet) but I havent had them long enough to attest to their long-term sturdiness. Very happy with this purchase. Made hanging my Christmas lights a snap.

If you have mini lights this might be ok but not very sturdy and I had trouble keeping it hooked on my gutter.

So every Christmas season, there is at least 2 or 3 different times, I have to go fix my lights in 20 degree weather, because they fall out of the clips on a windy day. We just had a wind advisory all day. Up to 50mph wind gusts. It’s evening time now, and they are still up! These will be my go to clips from now on. Easy to install and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
