Ive wanted to get into pourover coffee for awhile, but was intimidated by all of the available products out there. With some research and videos of Seattle Coffee Gear singing its praises I decided the V60 would be the perfect starter for me. I use it every day!

I love this product for the quality of coffee I am able to produce. But, the lid on the carafe has a terrible design flaw: the dripper cannot park in the lid. The dripper is very unstable if you try to park it on the lid while those last few drips fall out. The lid appears to have been intended for that purpose, but it fails. So I end up needing to keep a spare saucer or mug onhand to park the dripper. Seriously Hario? You thought to put the perfect little notch in the gasket for pouring, so you have well thought out designs. But the topper issue is such a sad miss and it really frustates what would otherwise be a beautiful coffee experience.

This set is a high quality pour over set. The little pot pours without dripping with lid on or off. I also purchased a gold reusable filter to use with it, making it the perfect pour over set.

I wish I had ordered a larger unit BUT this is awesome...Handle stays cool and container stays warm to hot. Love design too. Kit together was soooo nice.

The V60 design brews a great cup of coffee. I also have a copper Kalita 102, and it also brews a nice cup of coffee, albeit at a bit slower pace. Ive been bragging about the V60 to my son and now it looks like I will have to buy one for him as well!
