It works

I contacted seller, who answered promptly, but not entirely coherently. But I was able to figure it out. So here is how you set it up. You have your grounded item, long black cord snapped onto item, and running (most likely) to wall outlet, where its plugged into the thingy that plugs into the outlet. So you plug the long black cord that comes with this device into the other available hole. Snap the other end onto the device. (Im assuming youve already found where it says press, and made sure the little green light comes on for a second.) Place the big silver metal button on the back on your mat or whatever, press and hold - and if you are properly grounded, the light will come on and stay on for a few seconds. Yay! Your product works! You can check it by holding it off the mat, or whatever, and pressing again - the little green light will come on for a moment and go right out, just as it did when you checked it. So there you are, peace of mind.

I was so excited to test my grounding mat, but this tester won’t work. Not sure why but returning it with disappointment.

I have arthritis from old injuries in my hands and it is difficult to hold down the button and move the tester around at the same time. Because of that it was difficult to get the light to stay on. However. It served it’s purpose and was helpful, but the design is bad. You shouldn’t have to hold down a button that hard, which is very uncomfortable. I’’m excited to see what grounding can do for my health.

The tester is very easy to use and immediately lets you know if your earthing product is grounded. I have several earthing mats and an earthing mattress pad, and I test all the mats every day to make sure there is always continuity. Using this tester, I found one of my mats was showing no continuity, so with further investigation, it turned out to be a faulty cord. Once the cord was replaced, the mat tested with perfect continuity. The tester is essential for all earthing products. Highly recommend.

The connection button is loose and causes it not to work. I have to hold it in a certain position to work.

Gives me peace of mind knowing my earthing mat works.

I did like getting a sense of what was working as ground and what was not. My bed grounding pad has to be skin contact. My linen there is two layers of linen. Another bed with cotton sheets on it tests positive for grounding with a grounding pad underneath the 1 layer of cotton sheets. Anyways, I was enjoying using the meter for feedback on different things I was trying, but the darn thing up and broke on me. The attachment to the cord came due onnected and although I can hear a piece rattling around in there (perhaps the nut to hold the cord on?) I cannot fix it.
