> 24 hourI have arthritis from old injuries in my hands and it is difficult to hold down the button and move the tester around at the same time. Because of that it was difficult to get the light to stay on. However. It served it’s purpose and was helpful, but the design is bad. You shouldn’t have to hold down a button that hard, which is very uncomfortable. I’’m excited to see what grounding can do for my health.

> 24 hourI bought this to test my grounding throw blanket from Earthing and it works. I tested items that were not grounded as well just to check that the device was working properly.

> 24 hourYou can test your grounding products or you can take it outside--plug in the ground end into the actual ground/soil/dirt (instead of the third hole on an electrical grounded socket) and hold the tester against your body (hand/arm-any bare skin) to test for grounding. I found that my garage floor is grounded, the wire that I added to my outside sandals makes me grounded, the driveway is not grounded-unless wet, our garden stepping stones are not grounded and all of the grounding products-wrist bands, mats, bed sheet-are all properly grounded. Once I discovered that the ground end can be placed in the dirt, Ive been testing things everywhere. The button is kind of hard to press and the device is cheaply made, but it is worth the 19.99 price tag. It wouldnt be worth spending more for a sturdier deluxe version. Once I learn what materials ground well, I wont need it very much.

> 24 hourIf you touch BOTH the end of the wire attached to the tester AND the bottom surface of the tester to ANYTHING that can conduct the tiniest amount of electricity, the LED will turn on. Thats what its supposed to do. It’s a CONTINUITY TESTER designed to make it easy to test for continuity, BETWEEN THE LEADS, when your GROUNDING product is connected to the earth. (The ground receptacle in your power outlet is connected to earth through your home’s electrical wiring system.) So, if you touch both leads to any part of your body, the LED will turn on because your body is conductive. Calling it a grounding tester is a misnomer. Melissa Anderson, you actually demonstrated in your video that your grounding CONTINUITY TESTER works very well!

> 24 hourit works the way its supposed to but its a bad design. With the button on top and fairly stiff to press, holding it while holding the button and pressing the sensor down makes a very tricky and uncomfortable grip. If the button were on the side everything would be fine
