Weve used thes in our shower and bathroom sink drains for years. It helps with the yucky smells that can infiltrate the room. There was a bad review listed here that shows the homeowner laying the stick in the sink. That is not how these work! They are dropped into the drain, not left in the sink. In my opinion they are not meant to keep a drain clear but to prevent build up in a clean drain and prevent smells.

I had a rotten egg smell in my shower drain, that I could not get rid of, even after cleaning out everything. I used a couple of these and the next day the smell was gone. I did drop them in all the drains and toilet tanks in the house, I am not sure if that made a difference or not. I will continue to do this every month to avoid that nasty smell. I highly recommend this product!

These actually work. Give them time to kick in. After a few weeks the shower drain and bathroom sink drain stopped smelling and now I use one every two weeks to make sure the drains stay clean and are smell free.

I bought this huge pack of these and felt like I wasted most. The scent is nice, but I didnt notice a difference in ANY of the drains I used these in. Feels like a waste of money for the most part.

I noticed a foul smell coming from my kitchen sink. The smell even lingered from under the house. It was bad. I tried many products and the smell just would not go away. I am usually pretty good about dropping one of these into each of my drains once a month and I have not had any more clogs. Except: I not only forgot to put the drain sticks on schedule but I spilled a bunch of uncooked rice into my kitchen drain. As it expanded it caused quite a clog! But a quick application of plunger followed by a drain stick and I am free-flowing again! I’ve been using them for a few years now and have only had that one clog. While they won’t clear an existing clog, they’re great at preventing clogs. Used to get hair clogs often but no more!
