GRAVE BEFORE SHAVE™ Gentlemens Blend Beard Pack (Bourbon/Sandal wood Scent)

This is my secondary go to after the cigar blend. The product its self... great product!!! the oil goes in nice and smooth to condition my beard and the balm isnt too heavy yet provides a nice natural styling element to keep those fly a ways tucked in and under control. The scent is super nice, fresh... manly, really great overall. The scent isnt overpowering or lingering. i like this stuff. I prefer the Cigar blend but thats just me. I like this as my back up product.

smells really good, its got sandalwood in it I think. The roommate loves this co, and as usual it is a great product for his beard.

GBS products are awesome. Only product that goes on my beard. The oil, I apply right to the skin and comb out. The balm I use on the rest. The oil keeps my skin from getting dry. The balm helps keep my beard soft and keeps is from drying out, especially in the winter. The balm gives just a little bit of hold, just enough to tame the little stragglers. Its hard to describe this scent, but it does smell really good and even more manly. The wife loves it.

This is a nice, new scent. The oil and balm both work as they should, and smell very nice.

Definitely buying again

Bought this a couple months back and used 3-4 times. In that time frame after the second day I noticed I was breaking out in my beard after using these products. So I took a break from using it and tried it again and sure enough, breakouts on my fave. It smells good and I wish I could give this a better rating but I have to be honest in my rating. I have it 2 stars for the good smell at least but now I have a $25 product sitting in my drawer that I can’t use.

Firstly, the Good: The scent smells very good. To my nose it smells more like sarsaparilla/rootbeer than bourbon/sandalwood. This isnt a bad thing however, just something I noticed. It seems to do exactly what beard oil is supposed to, it oils my beard well, smells nice, and helps soften. I cant speak on the longevity as of yet since I only just got it. The Bad: I didnt receive the order until an entire week after it shipped. This is more an issue of UPS and weather conditions from a recent blizzard, but still a little upsetting because it had Prime Delivery. The more annoying thing was the fact that upon opening the package of the product, everything was covered in beard oil, and its still seeping out of things. I dont know if thats an issue of the package being in shipment limbo for so long, or if it was due to bad seals on the bottle. Overall: its a great product, that does its job, and smells great. It would have been a Five star review were it not for delivery problems and an apparent leak in the bottle. I will be buying more Grave Before Shave products (just hoping they dont leak)
