> 3 dayWe had bad hail the other day and it busted our pool. It looked like it was a small hole that just kept ripping. I think the rip was around 10 inches. Used the little flex tape I had but it did not like the water dripping on the outside. So I got this one and man is it stick and works well. We got the small leaked covered that the flex tape had and then was able to use it inside the pool to reinforce the outside tape. My husband had no problem using it in the water. Of course I probably went overboard covering it in the outside. It is still holding up and will update it if lasts the summer.

> 3 daySort of like Super Thick duct tape. Seems to stay in place decently. I would recommend cutting all corners and making them round. Where I left them at right angles the tape pulled back a little, as the sharp edge can catch on things and get pulled. This is heavy duty stuff but once in place can be removed.

> 3 dayI used this tape to patch 3 roof pipe boots whose rubber gaskets were dry rotting. Amazing tack, stretch and adhesion. TIPS: 1. DONT use latex gloves. The adhesive is so tacky, it will pull off the glove fingertips. 2. Try to score through just the tape, not the backing. I found it easier to remove the tape with the backing remaining on the roll. 3. I made the repairs in 91° direct sun. While it provided instant adhesion, it was almost to tacky to work with.

> 3 dayOkay, so this is Gorilla Tape. Gorilla tape works, we all know this. But what about underwater? So my brand spanking new vinyl liner pool decides to spring not one, not two, but three leaks on its first fill up. 3000 gallons of water to fill this thing up, I wasnt going to empty it! I live in a desert, I felt guilty enough filling it up, emptying it out to fix a hole and then refilling, no way. So I researched a ton of different patches and came across this product here on Amazon. The reviews were weird. Yes, I read them just like you are doing now. Some say it didnt stick at all? Another says it comes off the roll really loose. Here is the scoop - there is an error on the directions for this tape. So, lets do two things here together - One, know you are not wasting your time, get this product. Right now, dont waste time! Two, read below on a couple of important but easy steps on using it. 1) The directions tell you to cut off the piece you want and then round the corners. Here is something important: Do NOT - guys, read that again - do NOT - use your wifes good scissors or the ones in your knife rack. Dont do it guys. The residue left behind was like crazy glue. It sticks! Your best bet is using a decent pair of scissors and making your cuts in one smooth motion. This will prevent goo from getting on your scissors. 2) AFTER cutting, get to where you need to place the tape and then REMOVE the transparent liner over the sticky part of the tape. The directions never tell you to remove this liner! Well, to those people with the negative reviews, they didnt remove the liner. Once you remove it, watch out - it is sticky as can be! Try not to touch the sticky part!! We took the tape, sticky exposed, went underwater, and stuck that bad boy right where the pool was leaking. Pressed all the air out, pressed down on the edges, then just stood on it for a few minutes. Did this for all three holes and not one has leaked again. Okay, so it isnt as pretty as some of the other patches, it is a big black piece of tape. But it works and works fast and it is easy. Buy with confidence. Greater than one weekThis material is about the thickness of three Gorilla Tape pieces stuck back to back. The adhesive is much stronger. Make sure you get it where you want it, because you will have trouble getting it off. Good for repairing tarps, grill covers, etc. I used it to patch some vapor barrier under my house. I wanted something that wouldn’t curl up on the edges. I got it.

> 3 dayThis tape is insanely sticky!! I have a mid 90s truck with some rust in extremely common areas. The truck is primarily used to transport stuff to the dump or when blizzards hit, so I have little desire to do a lot of rust mitigation. But, if I can limit the rate of rust, Im all for it. After cleaning the areas I was applying tape to, I then took a propane torch and heated the metal a bit. I then took off measures pieces of the tape and stuck them on the clean warm metal. I then gave them a quick blast to really heat the adhesive up before pressing it onto the permanent position. The tape will not move. It is absolutely sealed around the edges and I have no doubt it will provide some protection to my old truck. If you are having problems sticking this tape, I would stand back and really try to evaluate why. Have you removed the liner that keeps it from sticking to itself on the roll? Is the part it question freezing cold or dirty? The reviews here stating that the tape just falls off are almost unbelievable honestly. This stuff is incredible.

Greater than one weekWe live in an RV. I had to make quite a few cuts to repair things under the RV. This product is ridiculously easy to install and at the same time extremely difficult to remove. That is what you need in a product like this. I wish I had purchased something like this from the beginning instead of going the cheap route originally.
