Hmm .. Where to start well this phone is budget friendly and has pretty much everything that you would want in a modern smart phone . The camera is everyones main concern when buying a android it shoots in 4k so you wont have a problem taking those foodporn pictures. As for the front camera its just a standard 12mp. But it honestly beats forking over 12-1300 for a smartphone!! You can even connect this thing to google fi and save 1000s on your cellphone bill !!

Ive only had the pixel 4a 5g for about a week. Im not a power user, gamer or movie streamer. The phone was easy to setup and transfer data from old Samsung device. It has great features: spam call blocker, super camera, fast sharp display, etc. Android updates are very timely. Its a very refreshing change from my old samsung device.

Im a little biased since i went from an iphone 6 to this but i am pretty blown away. At first i was disappointed in the display and camera and thought it was grainy until my dumb*** took off the protective film that comes on it brand new. The display is clear and great, the camera is just amazing, night sight is spectacular. The photo sphere is brand new tech to me so i love it! Its nice to be back with android again after so many years, i missed the customization of phones including background, app placement, sounds and so on. Finger print sensor isnt new to me, but compared to the iphone, its night and day on speed and performance. Spoiled people complain about the dumbest little things, but in my opinion this is a solid phone. Posted a before and after of night sight used.

I am amazed with the great and quick delivery of this phone! When I opened it, i am very pleased! It surpassed my expectations, the setup was quick and its a good phone with superb matte black design which I adored and the camera was perfect! I am happy with my purchase however i give it 4 stars since theres bo back button wherein we can go back to our previous tabs! But so far it passed my standards! Thankful since i got it for a good price! Better than paying 1,000 dollars for a smartphone! So if you are thinking to switch like me , dont hesitate to buy this! Its worth it!!

High end devices like the Note 20 Ultra are getting easier and easier to pass up. This is a great device, I had a Note 20u for a few months because I wanted to check out the telephoto lens. Very cool and something Id love to see added back to the Pixel line but in the end it isnt worth paying triple the price. Speed wise the 4a 5g is only slightly slower than my Note 20 and in practical terms I rarely if ever notice any slowdowns. Same with battery life, Im seeing similar battery life and I had to turn my Notes refresh rate down to 60 to get decent battery life. No bloatware? Nice plus as well. My biggest beef with my note was the price and the fact that I had nagging issues with Samsungs crapware / system software. Lastpass had continual issues due to the Notes aggressive battery management. I white listed it but there was some sub process getting shut down which allowed overlay and it would cause Lastpass to stop filling. Then I had problems with getting the stupid thing to connect with my Chromebook for unlocking / messaging. The pixel just works. You would be hard pressed to beat what you are getting for the money here. Im a heavy user, dont hesitate to buy this and pass on the overpriced premium devices. They are a waste of money.

Finally a phone wheres others can hear me without asking me to continually repeat myself!! Also, Im able to hear clearly others without trying to clarify!! Excellent camera is a real bonus. After playing around with it a bit, adding microsoft launcher to it adding navigation buttos on the bottom, I had it just like I need, super awesome!! The audio and camera alone makes me want to make this my most favorite cell phone ever!!

I love pixel phones. The cameras are always great. It also has built in spam blocking. The drawback is that this phone works with very few carriers. I had AT&T prepaid, but it doesnt work with any AT&T based carrier. I got this phone because it was supposed to work with AT&T and am disappointed, but the phone is so great that I think I might switch carriers for a few years.

My wife uses this as a work phone as well as a personal device. It has held up well for the last year. there have been no complaints of lagging or battery life, so she is happy.

I received my 4A 5G with much excitement, with high expectations based on reviews i had seen before. However, there some things that I had to note. Pros: 1. Compared to most of my previous phones, the sound quality was pretty good. I wouldnt think a typical user will be disappointed with the output of the speakers. 2. Screen quality wasnt bad. This isnt a flagship and so comparisons to one wouldnt be fair. 3. The fingerprint scanner was pretty fast and accurate. 4. If charging before bed, the battery would last throughout the workday and evening for me with moderate use. 5. Love the camera. It was a major reason for purchase and it didnt disappoint. Cons: 1. While the phone did facilitate a transfer of settings and data from my old phone, it didnt do so all that well. Photos did not always come across in their original albums, and worse (for some reason) didnt all keep the dates. the result was a jumbled mess that took ages to rectify. It was made worse with the fact that the phone didnt come with USB-A connection. And No, google photos only made it worse, sending tonnes of jumbled images i did not want backed up, to my drive. 2. while the stock android experience is great in that it leaves you free from bloatware, the apps preloaded (which largely can all be deleted) dont always compare to the contemporaries used with lets say Samsung. I had far more control and enjoyment using their photo gallery, integrated readers, and even the phone app. As an example, If a contact had multiple numbers assigned, I couldnt easily determine which had been used most recently without scrolling down however far to find it. Samsung took far fewer steps to show all numbers for the contact and the dates/times connected. The lack of bloatware meant id have to load items to be able to function, so I had to get a new gallery app, and pdf reader. 3. the largest issue i had was that in the setup process, the phone was alarmingly warm. This was far worse than the setups of any of my previous phones, even the so called cheap and slow ones. I also noticed it got warm again (though not as significantly as during setup) at points when multiple applications are running. Those werent big apps either (e.g. scrolling through the notes app while on a call). Edit: Since my original post Ive noticed that during video calls, the phone regularly got hot; alarmingly so. restarting and ensuring multiple applications werent running at the same time didnt seem to help. In one instance I was in an airconditioned car, with sunlight on the phone, though not particularly hot to the point where Id even sweat. The phone within three minutes gave an overheating warning and started to shut down functions. Im still a bit concerned given the fact that my previous lower specd phones did the same tasks without overheating to this degree. How will the phone hold up if Im in the warm outdoors for a protracted period and need to maintain contact for emergencies.
