I took it out of the box, turned it on, answered a few inquiries, then was up and running. Its a fast, thin, light phone. It charges quickly and holds a charge, easily, for two days. My only complaints are that is is very smooth and a tiny bit too tall. These make it easier to drop. But I adjusted and those details no longer bother me.

I had a moto 7 plus before this and it, with the extra sd card, did everything this one does. THe Pixel 4a lacks the slot for extended memory, but capacity is greater. THe camera is pretty remarkable, but not sure worth the premium price tag.

Everything works great, migration from my LGv20 was easy using the included cord. It has a headphone jack. Everything is fine. The only complaint (and I should have done a little more research) is the screen is a little smaller than I expected. The LGv20 is specd at 5.7 while the Pixel4a5G is 6.2....but the pixel is 19.5:9 while the older LG is 16:9. I knew this, but I thought the extra 1/2 inch would have more than made up the difference, but I didnt do the math. The end result is the pixel screen is ever so slightly smaller. Most newer phones are going to the 19.5:9, so if you are coming from an older 16:9 phone, be aware.

I bought the phone in early September and really liked it, awesome battery life and for me, had all of the features I needed. Just over 2 months since I started using the phone it died. Went to bed one night with a battery showing 80% and it the morning the phone was off, could not get it to turn back on. Contacted the seller and all I got from them was an email stating: hello, the 30 days return period expired. please check a different charger and cable. if issue persist, call google or 3rd party repairs. water damages are not covered. I did notice that if you purchase the same device today, from the same seller, the return window is open until January 31 2022. Real shame I had to buy the phone when I did. Trying to find support for a dead phone is useless on the Google website, just keep going around in circles and when you call them the message is Due to the Pandemic, we have a minimal support staff, please check our website for help then they hang-up. I wanted to buy an Android phone from an American company, guess not. Looks like Ill be sending more of my fixed income to china. Really bad time to be retired in America, really feel Ive been scammed.

Just after the one year warranty was up, the charging port fried, for no good reason at all. Initially I was glad to have a phone with usbc charging, but my previous cheap Samsung phone with regular USB lasted years longer than this. It stopped charging and was a nightmare to find a shop that would fix it, because for whatever reason, theres a large chance this phone will be broken during repair attempts. Finally found a shop that would fix it and the fix lasted three months. Charging dead again. Its too bad, its a decent phone otherwise but now I cant even trade it in because, obviously, it wont turn on. Huge disappointment.

This is what was in the Amazon listing -- New, unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan; unlocked smartphone works with T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and other major carriers; not compatible with the Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband network. -- Yet the card inside the packaging says different - Im not sure if Amazon messed this description up or the seller did, but I am at least thankful for this little card of info, so that I am able to return it without opening it, resulting in a restocking fee!

First of all, I had the phone 4 days and Im still putting it though its paces. The first thing I noticed right away after downloading everything is the battery life. The battery life is incredible on this phone...wow. I had it a few days now and I got, 10hrs 28min on screen time over 2 1/2 days with time left to spare. I didnt make it to battery saver mode. This is with a mix of heavy, med to light use. It charges pretty quickly also. It took 1hr and 5mins to charge from 17% to 100%. Love the camera and this is one of the reasons why people buy this phone. And the extra Google features they put on this phone. And the timely upsides of course. I was surprised to find out that I had 5g. Its pretty quick, T-Mobile version with me on Mint. Im getting 40mbs to 162 dn to 15.9 to 57 up in areas Ive tested so far. My friend is getting 7.4 dn where he lives so, everywheres different but so far Ive been getting it everywhere I go. Its a nice simple phone and its the Goldilocks of the new Pixel phones. No issues so far, works great. One I thing I dont like is, the location of the power button on top coming from Moto phones. Other than that love the phone.
