Fortex Feeder Pan for Dogs/Cats and Horses, 4-Quart

The bowl is perfect for my use. But rough to keep clean.

This works great as a water bowl for the birds in my backyard! It holds a lot of water, and they can drink from it and splash around in it! It is very durable, and easy to clean. I have a special table I keep it on, so they can reach it easily...without the dogs bothering them! LOL By the way, its a good idea to clean it (rinse it out, at least) every 4-5 days. It gets a lot of use, so believe me, it gets kinda yucky if you dont clean it regularly. I just rinse it out thoroughly every 4-5 days, and refill it. The birds, and a few squirrels, seem to love it!

If you havent used these before, you should try one. We used them for years for our horses, but wanted one for my dog. We have to get them out of the stall quickly after feeding or he takes them, plays with them and then hides them! Indestructible as an eating disk, but can be mangled by a large terrier. When you open it may smell of rubber, but dont worry. Wash it well with mild soap and rinse COMPLETELY. You dont want any soap residue. Let it sit out overnight and the smell will go away. Doesnt seem to bother the animals tho.

Sturdy

We use this for the boat anchor in our fishing boat to keep the floor clean. It works great!

Ordered these for my silly dogs that kept swiping the little metal bowls and zooming around the yard. These are well made, with no weird order and never get stolen. Great purchase - bought 5 of them for different parts of the house and yard.

The crazy critters on my ranch love the bowls. So far they are holding up very well.

This feeder pan is filled with fine pieces of wire which an animal could ingest! I would NOT feed any animal from these. Returning the one I ordered.

I loved this - smaller size, super tough, what more could you want? You know you got something good when it gets stolen less than 3 months after you bought it. I wrote my horses name all over this thing in silver sharpie....if recovered, Ill need to know what material can write and stay on this. Overall, great buy.

Durable and helps keep the water unfrozen when the sun is out.
