The best multimeter I have ever used/owned. Almost every option available, and built extremely well. Highly recommended to anyone doing electronics/electrical work.

I was first introduced to the Fluke brand back in electronics class in high school. No electrical engineers kit is complete without a Fluke. Fluke is known for its top quality products and this device is no different. Definitely built to last! I bought one because it was time I got my own instead of constantly borrowing one from my university, which also invested in Fluke equipment.

I needed a meter to trace down an intermittent power problem in my house. This meter will allow you to trace power lines inside of a sheetrock wall. Which is exactly what I needed. When the power failed on several outlet in my house I was able to trace the problem to the offending outlet where I discovered a loose wire connection. Problem solved. While this might not be the best meter for general bench work, I think it would work for many electronic projects pretty well. I have a bench meter, but I would trust this meter equally well for most applications. It provides that Fluke quality that many electricians and electronics professionals have come to rely on.

Why not for a lifetime warranty...

Very accurate and reliable multimeter. I like it.

The title says it all, and i use this meter every day for work. It does most the things a handheld meter is expected to do. I love the volt alert, although at times it may be a bit sensitive if your looking for a specific wire with power on it. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a simple meter or doesnt know what they want.

I saw many different multimeters for much cheaper, but you get what you pay for. I got an awesome multimeter that probably does way more than what I need, but at least I know it will last. The instructions are great. With so many options and not being an expert on electrical anything, it made it much easier to understand how to use the tool.
