Fits 10 gallon aquarium perfectly. Has cutout on corners to allow for cords from filters etc to outside of tank without compromising the snug fit.

This cover is superb. I purchased it to sit atop my bearded dragons enclosure, and it works like a charm. The frame is sturdy and the mesh is resilient, resisting both the heat and weight of my dome lights. This is not going to provide an exact fit for a 40 gallon breeder, so I cant recommend it for snakes, given their penchant for escape artistry. There are gaps in corners of the frame, which allow me to run a wire for a fluorescent fixture mounted inside the tank. I would be wary of the manufacturers claim that the cover allows maximum UV penetration. Any solid between the light and the reptile will deflect a substantial portion of essential radiation. Play it safe and mount your UV lighting under the hood. Overall, a great purchase, provided your reptilian companion is not of the serpentine variety.

I haven’t got my tank in so i don’t know how it fitsbut it is very sturdy and is perfect its very nice and affordable

Fit our 10gal tank perfect

This fits a ten gallon aquarium very well. We overwinter mice every year in Vermont that we humanely catch in safe traps. We feed them and care for them every winter in aquariums and keep a rock on the top of these lids so they cannot get out again. These work great and keep them safe from our cats. We release them outside when it is nice and warm with some food so they can live out their lives happily. Thanks so much. Great product.
