There is nothing wrong with the top. I wrote in on the question and answer part of your site and asked a question about the size. I gave the size of my tank and was told that it would fit the tank. Well when it came it did not fit the tank it was not wide enough to fit it. The length was fine but not the width. Checked with trying to return it and it will cost me $38 to send it back. Not worth it. So I have a tank lid that does not fit my tank.

For some reason, this is way cheaper than what you would pay at a pet store. Its good quality, and the mesh wire probably wouldnt break unless someone deliberately cut it. Its about 0.5 cm too large for basically all 10 gallon aquariums, but that makes sense, since its probably better to overestimate the size that it would be to underestimate it. The good think about it being large is that a wire can slip through the corner and it can still be down on the tank.

This lid was purchased as a replacement for our terrarium. Its actually made better than the original lid that came on it. Would definitely recommend.

Fits perfect for red ear slider tank. Gomez and Morticia are very happy with it. Arrived great and works perfectly to replace a worn out cheaper made screen top. Very sturdy and durable. Love that it is a metal screen too. Will buy again and recommend to others.

This product is exactly as described. It is well made, fits well. If using for escape prone reptiles, definitely need something to secure it to the aquarium, however, we are using it for a family of happy hermit crabs and have no problems.

It was really sturdy and nice but mine came damaged from shipping. But that’s not the products fault. I was able to cut it up and re purpose it.
