15-11-2024So as we know in the Tech industry, bad units are inevitable. Unfortunately, this time I was the on the receiving end of a bad unit. However, I have tried many Suppliers for PC Parts over the years.. and have gotten bad units from the likes of MSI, ASUS etc.. so this being my first from EVGA really was no surprise. Plainly put it happens... period, hardware failure can strike at any time no matter the QA that goes into product testing. With all that being said, Ive owned many EVGA products and this was the first to die within warranty period. (1 month after purchase.) Having dealt with many Customer Service agents in the past I was dreading the long ordeal and what not of getting an RMA. I am pleased to say, EVGA has handled this in the most professional manor! My experience was wonderful, and they have earned themselves a lifelong customer! Awesome job, with your RMA process! Great job with training your techs.

> 3 dayTheres a lot of hate for evga PSUs but its fine. Make sure you buy sleeves! Its a lot easier to install then the ones that comes with the PSU.

> 3 dayThis is a great PSU. It has solid construction and all the adaptability you would expect from a fully modular PSU. The cables are all black which is nice and are well protected/insulated. I havent noticed any noise from the fan at all. The only knock would probably be that the fan protector appears to be plastic rather than steel which is a bit of an odd choice but there was no impact on my build.

Greater than one weekI got this to replace my wimpy 480 Watt Power supply that was in my Alienware Aurora R7. Super easy to install and I felt the difference in my GTX 1080 getting the power it needed to do the job. It’s recommended to have over 550 Wats of power. Would order another when I get another computer.

> 3 day3 separate PSU’s all DOA, RMA twice and customer service is saying that the tested fine on their end but they will not power up my pc or spare pc I have. PSU tester gives a 0ms PG reading and CS this is normal for this model. I’m really frustrated and out $270.
