Easy to install, and quiet operation. very good power supply!

Got this for my first new PC build in 20 years. I knew Id need some serious wattage to handle the mother board, processor, 7200 rpm drive and graphics adapter. Heat kills and the hotter your PSU runs, the sooner itll die, so get bigger by 1/2 to 1/3 than you think youll need. Keeps the heat down which is quieter and will result in longer lasting PSU. I found the 850 Gold to be just what I needed. The modular design means I dont have cables I dont need, making cable management a breeze. Its so over-capable that I still have room to upgrade to a water-cooling setup later without running the risk of pushing the PSU. Arrived quickly, undamaged and as advertised.

Its silent until its not. When the fan turns on its on maximum speed, wish it was gradual.

This thing is a beast so far and the box it came in was pretty dang sharp as well!

Very easy to test and set up. Modular cable design is nice for decreasing the mess of cables inside my case.

Amazing computer power supply. The fully modular design is a huge plus since you do not have to connect any unnecessary cables and plugs (for some price saving, you can go with a semi-modular design). Bought this for heavy duty usage. The fan is so quiet that when I first turned it on I thought it wasnt even working. Nice high quality cables, but they are quite thick so they do take up more space within the tower versus the stock PSU wires. Well packaged. Even comes with a self-testing to try out before you wire everything in.

This is for the EVGA SuperNOVA 220-G3-0850-X1, 850 G3, 80 Plus Gold 850W. I have been buying all of my PSUs from EVGA for several years now and I have yet to be let down.

As it stands, the psu was installed for less than 6 months(did not use it right away) And it has bricked, its modular cable layout was nice and clean, but cannot recommend due to poor service life and reliability
